Absolutely horrible design. The top of the shade attaches with taped Velcro. You apply it to your existing top and the top of the shade has the other part of the Velcro. Any kind of wind or tightening with the straps and it peels right off. Of which each shade (there’s 2) requires two straps and they only provided 2 instead of the 4 needed.

They definitely are shade nets, but each one only has a two gromets on the top corners... I can see the idea they were going for on install, but it comes with a lot of adhesive tape for the shades rather than a sturdy way of attaching them. I have no complaint on the shades themselves, but it is like there is no real thought process to attaching it. I was confused pulling them out of the box and seeing how much adhesive velcro tape there was included until I realized, that is basically all there is to it, except two straps that clip to the gromets, that I assume go over the boat's canopy rails? Overall, very confusing install, but the shades ARE fairly nice, just need a better install system.
