This does not fit a 2021 Ram Ecodiesel. Save yourself the time and frustration and just order the OEM part #68357826AA from a different seller.I had to shave down the plastic for it to fit and could never get it to fit correctly. Similar to the other sellers.I ordered the OEM part and it fit perfectly and flush, which tells me this is definitely not the correct cord.

Having looked up the block heater design I was sure that it couldn't be the block heater itself not working. I was sure it was just a fried cable, it has been a wet spring and I guess some water got in and shorted the cable.Install was easy, the longest part was removing the old cable and tying the new one in. Considering how cold this winter has been so far I'm glad to have it working again.

Bought in November, easy to install into factory plug on the block. You need a few zip ties after routing the plug to the front of the truck to secure the cord. Easy starts and quick warm up all winter.

If you follow all the directions that come with this kit and watch a few YouTube videos it would take maybe 45 minutes to install and route the wire. I am now able to start my Ecodiesel with ease in cold weather. I have it set on a timer cord outside, so I don’t overheat the cord. I have it run for about 2 hours prior to starting, which might be overkill. The heat shield on the cable is a good addition.

The only downside of this is if you're installing it yourself it's a little bit of a pain to reach the heating element connection as it's in a not-so-easy spot to reach. If you don't know what you're doing I would HIGHLY recommend you have a shop install it for you due to the fact you have to reach around a couple of hard fuel lines and coolant return hoses just to get to the plug. But it does work once it's installed.

Fast shipping. Easy to install. Good price. Installed on a 2016 laramie ecodiesel.The only thing that I seen as a negative was the so called insulation covering, very brittle and was crumbling off before I even opened the package, but as long as you route the cord away from the heat you should be ok.

Install was not as painful as I tho it would be. It plugged in easier than I tho based on some reviews. Hardest part was dodging dirt falling off from under the chasse so safety glasses solved that. I also installed a plug on the front of my truck where the tow hooks are to make plugging in easier. Cord works as engine will warm up to around 93 degrees when plugged in overnight. I use a smart plug so I can turn on and off from my phone or alexa plus can set a schedule on when to turn it on and off so it is not on all night.
