So for us, this worked out perfectly. The size was just right for what we needed. I wasn’t expecting the pattern of the mat to look so unique but it’s actually great for our dark wood floors. I was expecting something that felt cheaper, but instead this seems really well made. Our ikea office chair does roll well enough… that might be the one thing I could get picky about. There’s a tiny bit of gumminess to how our chair rolls on it. However, our chair has rubber coating on its casters, so I do blame that mostly. That made our chair grip just a teensy bit too much sometimes in this mat. But not enough that I regret getting this at all.

I liked this floor mat even more than I thought I would. It feels good on my feet, even in bare feet. It didn't take too long to uncurl as well, despite it arriving in the middle of a very cold snap here where I live. I used to have a lot of trouble with my desk chair rolling away from the desk. I live in an old house and I that floor isn't perfectly level, but the subtle texture of this mat keeps my chair just where I want it. I'm super pleased with it! The color is nice too.

We like the fact that this mat lays flat on the floor without the edges curling up. We took the advice of someone else that had written a review. When we received the rug, we rolled it up the opposite way so the top was on the bottom and the bottom on top. We tied it and let it sit overnight. When we unrolled it, we put paper on the end of the rug and put bricks on top. Then we let it sit for another day. That was a few months ago and the rug has been laying flat for all this time. It stay in place even when you move the office chair. We're very happy with this purchase.

My floors are made out of hard tiles and are really old. It started to crack a few months ago and using my chair on this floor has been a pain. I can't roll from one side of my desk to the other side as efficiently anymore and it's just easier for me to stand up and move the chair at this point. It is also damaging the casters on my chair which makes it even worse to roll on it. Now I can just get my floors fixed but it's going to take time and money and to be honest the floors are not that bad at all, it just bad enough to ruin my experience of using an office chair so for me investing in a new floor isn't worth it just yet. I have tried a few office chair mats in the past but they really are just massive mouse pads and all they do is collect dust and I can still catch myself and feel the cracks through these mats so I needed something made of a harder material and then I saw this. This mat is PERFECT for my situation. It covers the floor very nicely and doesn't sink into the crack but instead goes over them so that I don't even feel them there. It also feels and looks nice and it is super easy to clean. It grips my floor well enough so it doesn't move unless I try to move it and it feels very nice and smooth under my chair casters. I will have to get my floor replaced eventually but for now, I know that I can rely on this office chair mat to get the job done until then. 5/5 I would definitely recommend it

We had the brilliant idea of putting in a hardwood floor where my son's desk chair was, but putting carpet in the rest of his room. We were thinking that this would work wonderfully. However, it did not work. He used this floor for about six months, then the chair started damaging it.I didn't know what to do. Then I found this chair mat. It's very dense and lays flat. My son can still roll his chair around, but it protects his floor. It also looks great, and it was super easy to cut to fit the space I wanted it. I didn't have to worry about it unraveling or anything like that. This really is a great mat. We are so happy with it!
