This is a very nice looking mat. The chair rolls well on it. It stays flat and looks very nice and tidy. It will protect my floor and look good doing it.

It's good. I like the feel and the apparent strength. It's easy to roll my office chair, i not slick so I go flying. I'd buy it again.

It wasn't rolled too tightly, yet I still "reverse rolled" it to help it relax before putting down. (The ends still want to curl a bit, but I re-rolled the edge and it's laying pretty flat immediately after unpacking.) First I was impressed with the rubbery feeling backing, and it's gripping where I lay it down really well. I like the way the black pattern looks on the cement floor of my basement by my desk. I am also surprised by how thin this actually is... not sure what I expected, but I feel the chair may roll off it, and thus, back on to it easily. And here's the kicker and exactly what I needed - my rolling office chair is much harder to roll around under me. I'm surprised how much rolling resistance it has now! My basement floor is slightly pitched in case of water of course, and while not noticeable under normal circumstances, I found myself rolling away from my desk, or into it, based on how I moved or leaned back in the chair LOL Now? The chair stays put unless I consciously decide to move. I have to plant my feet and push to move now - and I love it. The quality seems really good and I have no reason to doubt it'll last - but time will tell.

Ironically, I purchased this mat to go on top of another hard plastic mat (I have a medium pile carpet, and the shiny surface was reflecting too much). The KMAT Office Chair Mat stays on top perfectly without sliding away when I move around. It does take a bit more effort to move my chair around on it, but honestly, I really like the woven texture look of it. At a glance, you'd never assume it was PVC material. A worthy purchase.

Just what I wanted. I am elderly and found my roller desk chair dangerously slipping away from me on hard surfaces, glass and plastic mats as I tried to sit on it. From the description and reviews, I thought this Kmat would solve the problem, and it did. The rubberized surface on the hard vinyl floor hugs the floor without budging, curling or waving, and the top hard, flat but slightly carpeted surface retards the roller wheels just enough to be safe. I no longer have to grab or hold on to the desk to steady myself and the chair. Some might find this surface a drag but I found it perfect. It should be part of the promotion of the product in view of all the clear plastic pads on the market. And it looks great.

I am so pleased with my new floor mat! It is exactly what I've been looking for and the quality is much higher than I'd expected for the price too.I used to have one of those heavy clear plastic ones and over time it yellowed, then cracked and eventually broke into dangerously sharp pieces.This new hard floor mat is a beautiful heavy woven two tone texture with a rubber backing that keeps it in place. My chair glides easily over it, even where the floor and carpet under the mat are at different levels.The size is perfect too. It extends under my desk far enough for my feet to rest so no more dirty carpet spots. It also extends far enough out from my desk to easily swivel and slide the chair in and out.
