Our 2 year old loves this. The strings it comes with do break pretty easily but we've replaced them with cheap guitar strings cut to size and they last much longer. Even with proper strings, this is not a tune-able instrument as others have mentioned. I don't mind this especially where my son is so young, but I do see how it being marketed as "learn to play" is pretty misleading. It's not bad for what you're actually spending

Like others have said, this is a true toy guitar, not one to tune and learn to play. But we didn't get it for that reason, we got it for our son to play with when he wants to join in and "jam" like his uncle and older cousins who play guitar. He is a huge bluey fan so this is perfect. He loves to play it and rock out during episodes, especially the episode bluey gets tooth fairy money and it ultimately ends up in the guitar case of the bloke playing in the park. He loves mimicking anyone playing a guitar, so it's the perfect size to keep him included in on the fun.

Don’t buy this guitar if you want one that can actually play like a real guitar. Tuning is a joke. It’s a toy, and nothing more. not a true guitar. Will be returning.

My grandson loves this guitar. It is loud but having the pick attached makes it so much easier for an 20 month old to play with.
