The light show is pretty cool on the snail but it does not move at all. It's just loud music and bright lights but does not do anything else. Our kiddos became bored with it pretty quickly.

This isn't the first one of these I've had. They are absolutely awesome for holding infant's attention and keeping them happy. The only complaint I have is that they're not all that sturdy, and tend to get broken down with handling from toddlers. Great for the littlest ones though, who are too small to pull his head off.
