These are strong and easy to use. Heat shrink protects the double tacked sewn section of the loop. Sewn with 277 polyester thread.

This prusik is 7mm/MBS:4000lb not the 8mm/MBS:5000lb advertised. It is also mislabeled as 8mm on the prusik itself. In the picture is a 8mm VT prusik on one side and 6mm sterling power cord on the other side, the dynamic prusik in the middle. The only thing good about this prusik is that it’s properly labeled as far as the tensile/MBS of 4000lb which can be verified on blue water ropes website under 7mm dynamic prusik. I’m sure it’s a perfectly sturdy device, but I needed the larger/stronger prusik for a reason. Who’d you hire for quality content control, Creed Bratton? One star from me.
