Quality appears to be ok but the length of flexible chord (16"+/- as 4" each end are rigid) in combination with the stiffness of the line makes it difficult or possibly impossible to make more than a single wrap with each end of the prusik chord on on the receiving line. My limited investigation of prusiks implies there should be not less than 2 wraps with each end. Probably should not be sold at this 24" length. Possibly 30" or more likely 36" minimum should be considered.Additional exercises with the 24" unit on a 12 mm main line lead me to conclude the unit cannot create a friction hold sufficient be used in climbing work.
