This is a really nice mp3 player. I love that we can use Spotify and not have to worry about finding somewhere to download music.

If you need a music player to have decent sound quality without earbuds, do not pick this. Mine sounded like their was a sheet or a thin blanket over the speaker when playing out loud.

Small, does what it needs to do. Not sure if I got a new or used though, half of the storage is already full and it just turned right on to the homeoage with no setup required upon boot.

Would not stop rebooting randomly. It just kept turning off and on when I didn't even touch it. When i reached out to support there was no response. buy something else a bit more expensive

I didn't have high expectations but this exceeded any I had.It's beautiful, and smooth. Does what it is supposed to do. Highly reccomend.Also, get an SD card. It has storage but it's just better to have an SD card.

I bought this for my work because when we play music through our phones we forget and play videos and stuff through the Bluetooth speaker by accident. This device has literally one job and can’t do it. Won’t connect to or discover anything without turning everything on and off multiple times.It refuses to connect to any type of Wi-Fi without many errors.It is extremely slow with a long response time for each click/tap. When I’m playing music through the Spotify app it turns the music off by itself about every 30-45 min and it’s extremely annoying. Stay away from this product!The fact that they are

I'm rating 4 stars based on how this compares to what I wanted it for. YMMVTLDR - works great as Spotify remote but can't select Google Cast speakers from the device, need to do so on another device. The screen is pretty bright for comfortable late night use.----I wanted to have a relatively inexpensive plug-and-play device that wasn't my phone and didn't require a computer or other hardware that I could use to control Spotify around my apartment.This is almost exactly what I was looking for. In terms of controlling Spotify easily without needing my phone, A+. It's just a simple stripped down "smartphone" like device that appears to be running Android (7).However... I have about 4 Chromecast Audio ("Google Cast") speakers and 2 Google Home Mini's in my place (6 speaker zones) and so far, I have not been able to get any of them to show up in the app that is on this device. This is a fail :( - That said, if I select a Google Cast speaker or speaker group from my desktop spotify app or my phone, I can still control and play from this device. So that's close enough to a workaround that it passes for me. I can also tell my Google Home Mini "Hey Google, play music on [Google Cast Speaker/group]" and that will start the music on the speaker group from my spotify and then I can use this device to select music and fine tune.I assume Spotify on this device can't "see" network speaker devices (Google Cast / Chromecast Audio speakers) is because this device is running a custom build of Android and they seemed to have removed "Devices" and the "Scan for nearby devices" options from the Android Settings menu. That said, my Macbook shows up in the devices list?? --- I'm guessing if you were interested enough you could load a different custom build with that option enabled and fix this issue- if someone has done this, please comment on my review and let me know!Other random Pros and ConsPROS+ small and sized to be a little bedside or table side controller+This device also will control the volume of the Spotify session.+ bonus pro for them including a simple gel/rubbery protective case with the device+ total battery life is short, but in practice, it goes to sleep quickly and device lasts a while+ USB C port for chargingCONs- missing local device scanning (per above)- even at lowest setting, screen is still pretty bright for night time use - I wish it was dimmer. However I might try affixing an ND filter over the screen or something.
