This was a great replacement and cost effective repair. It is shorter then OEM but works just fine. Saved me $85 and a couple of days waiting on the Warranty Repair Service to get the part.

Purchased to replace the equivalent on my 2014 LG front loader washing machine, which is [surprisingly] still operating. This thing keeps the door open a crack to allow ventilation. I will note that is insufficient to prevent disgusting odors, but that's an LG design issue inherent to front loaders and not an issue with this unit. Simple to replace: since the original was broken, I simply popped this into place.

I wasnβt totally sure this would fit my washing machine model but thankfully it did. Directions were easy to follow and I replaced the broken one in less than 60 seconds. Itβs working as it should

The magnet and plastic quality are lower than the original part. Having said that the price is also lower and it does work. Not sure how long it will last but for the lower cost compared to OEM I think it's an OK value.

I didn't even know I had this type of magnet until it broke and I saw it under the open washer drum. Had to read to find out what it was for, to keep the washer door open to decrease odor within the washer drum between uses. Did some quick research, found this product, fixed the issue in a few minutes. Worked perfectly.Another way to decrease the stale washer odor is to at least monthly empty and clean the washer pump basket. Learn this the hard way.

For a while, our cap was broken and I wasnβt sure if I could get a replacement. On a whim I decided to look here and low and behold, I found this that was indicated as a replacement for what was broken. Against the numerous negative reviews, I still purchased one and found it to work. Time will tell if it can last longer than the original. A+++ so far.
