The quality and color was great! However there are only 2 brushes in the set and the pic makes it look like there are a bunch. Otherwise, it was perfect!

As the token artist-mom I got roped into helping the freshman class face-painting booth fundraiser. Another mom purchased the oil-based paints and boy and Iβm glad I picked up these. The colors were super pigmented and covered great, but also watered down and acted like watercolors when I needed them to. I loved that I could move the individual paints around in the palette to arrange them just how I like. And if needed, I could take certain colors out and use them on their own. Washing up this between kids was quick whereas Iβm still cleaning brushes from the oil-based paints a day later. The paint certainly held up, too. Between faces I played around and gave myself some galaxy art and hours later a store cashier thought it was a tattoo.I was the recipient of a massive rainbow across my face. Pink seemed to linger but I was able to get it off without any linger stains with a second round of face wash. One kid changed her mind after I started painted with black. A baby wipe easily cleaned her face without any shadows and I was able to paint a light colored jellyfish. The fundraiser was a success and I will be purchasing more Blue Squid paints for the student artists to use in the next face painting event.

Update March 2024: the seller responded quickly after I left my review. I had purchased 7 of these and one is missing the white. They offered me a refund. I wouldβve loved a white pan sent to me, but I guess this way they expect me to buy a new set. Iβm going to just use a white from a different pallet I have. We need a large white anyway. So, great customer service.The paints continue to work well for my factoring class. We started practicing on practice boards (DIY dollar store clear plastic chopping board with a face drawn on paper and taped under it). The black and green are hard to get off)β-Original review:I actually love these face paints. I bought 8 sets on Black Friday to use to teach a class in February. Just opened them up - one set is missing the white. Ugh!! Of course this sucks when Iβm hoping the kids will take the paints home.I will change the review to 5 if I get good seller feedback.In the attached photo of paint on my arm, the paint has been there for about 5 hours and 2 hand washes so itβs a bit smudged. It came off VERY easily with soap and water.I did a lot of research to find the most professional paint with the least toxicity. This brand was the winner. Best for sensitive skin and none of the horrible toxins in the major brands.The brushes that come with the set are good. The paints go on nicely. Youβll just need to get a face paint sponge (not regular make up sponge) for blending colors for the base.

This paint stays on, and lasts forever. We love it. I bought a palette 3 years ago and it lasted all this time, but bought another this year because we were missing colors (they pop out and have caps so you can take them in your bag for touch ups)

We decided to be Pop Art Zombies for Halloween this year and wanted a smooth face paint. These worked great and were easy to use for first time users. Came off very easily as well. Only issue was some of the colors shown in the product photos were not the same in real life. For example, no neon green that we needed. We had to blend our own. The pallet was a dark green. But we were happy with the coverage and vibrancy!

Paint is decent, did not include the book or stencils. Disappointed in that. I do not have time to return and they will not send just stencils and book.

Seller was easy to work with. I have absolutely NO problem with the quality of the paint. I love the paint and will order again. β¦β¦β¦. Purple and brown are not as pictured. No lime green. Have to mix colors to get somewhat what I was counting on. The purple is more light pink and deep purple is one of the main colors I need for this weekend. That said, the colors are deep and rich. I did a test painting and they seem good. They definitely come off easily with water. Iβll use setting powder and hope it helps. I just like to receive what is shown. No time to order different paints. I received greyβ¦. Definitely do not need that color but would have liked the lime green or the nice purple.

I love this face paint pallette! I have been doing face paint for big events for quite few years now, this is the first tìme purchasing this brand, bc the one I am used to get, is simply getting too pricey. Well, I was nervous to swap brands but, best desition ever! This ones are way better than the pricey ones! Great quality, bright colors on one stroke, stays on very nicely which is ironic bc is very easy to remove...Seriously, I give it 10/10... will be buying this brand from now on

I hadnβt heard of blue squid before until now so I was excited to try these paints out as Iβve always used Mehron but I have to say Iβm so in love with these blue squid paints, the palette is so light weight which is easy to travel with for those who travel for work as a face painter etc so I like that fact as my mehron palette is really big and bulky and heavy and not practical for travelling with. These paints were so easy to use and very pigmented and easy to work with, same for removing them they were so easy to remove with no residue left behind. I will note that some shades will stain but that depends on your skin type and where you place the paint everybody is different so you may stain but then you may not so just bare that in mind. But other than that these paints are incredible and Iβve been using these over my mehron paints since Iβve had this palette. The other nice touches I like is that you can remove the paint pans and they have clear plastic lids over each shade which I like to use as a mixing palette as you can mix these paints to achieve your desired colour you are looking for. Overall a great product and I highly recommended them.
