Barely any of the colors work and was very hard to apply, it was good for the value but other than that its okay.

These face painting sticks were so convenient! I used them at a Special Education Arts Festival! I was in charge of the face painting booth and am no artist haha. These sticks made it so much easier. Just don't let them sit out in the heat/sun! They get gooey and melty and not so easy to control.

These makeup crayons are super easy to use and have great vibrant color. They wash off easily - and if a 6 month old grabs your face for smooches, it’ll also rub off! Lol, it was worth it. Anyway, I was very happy with these - used in 100 degree weather and the colors did not streak or run with the sweating that was going on. Highly recommend!

We are amateur face painters but have tried many sets. If you are looking for a virtually mess free face paint that does the job you won’t be disappointed. The clean up off the skin has been the best ever. We have probably tried up to 6 different sets over the years and this has risen to the top,

I have played around with face paint for my small children (4 and 6) in the past, and I've worked with the sponges and the brushes...yada yada. It was, frankly, a pain, and hard to get good at when you are just goofing around. I wanted something with better color (more vibrant) and easier to use. I can't believe how wonderful these are. My kids actually asked if they could do each others' faces (immediately upon opening these), and their drawings were actually wonderful, and easy to get off with a touch of soap and water. I was very pleased with the vibrant colors, and that the "crayons" actually twist up to give you more product than you see upon opening them. One note: The silver is not very visible. If you are buying it just for the silver or if the silver is important, you should probably get something else, or get just a silver separately if you really need it. It's not critical for us, so my kids just call it "adding sparkle" (aka, I can't see it, but they're happy, so I'm happy).

These were super easy to use which was mainly what I was looking for. I used a cheap white base on my face before applying, but I probably could have achieved a similar look without it. The colors do need to be layered to be vibrant. I did two layers for the look in my picture. I didn’t have to reapply later either. The picture is after approx. 10 hours of wear. If you’re looking for bright colors this may not be the set for you, but if you want something easy and quick to use I’d recommend this set

I used this for a before school free face paint activity that our PTA hosted. The face paint sticks are soft and go on very easily with out any significant pressure or extra water like other paints. You can very easily draw simple crowns, balls, flowers, etc or even make a child into a quick tiger. Beginning of school time requires quick application to catch as many students as possible without a ton of volunteers. This worked amazing!I purchased 3 other types, not knowing what would be the best and by far these were the best! I don't even use the other types of face paint we purchased. I have since used these to do multiple similar events and they continue to impress. I have also completed a more complex blended butterfly design, when i had 20 mins to paint a face, i am not a professional, but i do watch youtube. :) Only other thing i needed was those wedge makeup sponges.If you are doing something similar as described above, I suggest you go to the dollar store and purchase a couple of black and white eyeliner pencils (the kind you dont have to sharpen) to add finer details and you will look like a pro!!
