The fisheye mirror is directionally adjustable, but subject to moving out of chosen position. That fisheye mirror is attached to the 'visor' which in turn is taped to the interior of the top of your mirror. The visor has a very gentle curvature, but is more or less flat. And that's why it wouldn't work for my car's mirrors. Dodge Challenger has small mirrors that are rounded and this visor could not be bent enough to be properly mounted. To clarify, it bends (and I even heated it with a blow dryer) but does not want to remain bent so even after installation (using quality additional tape provided with the unit) begins to flatten out again and thus pulling itself free of the adhesive. Within 24 hours the visor was drooping like a set of cheap false eyelashes.

I ordered the fish-eye mirrors because I had some blind spots with the side/rear view mirror combination and wanted to pick-up the dead zones. These are far better than I hoped. They do complete the side and rear optical survey as I had hoped, but there are several bonuses. First the fish-eyes attach to an extended base that swivels, so this tiny piece of engineering allows you to adjust the small mirror, rather than the standard of being affixed to the large mirror. Secondly there is a type of visor, that they call a rain-guard, that attaches to the inner shell of the mirror housing and provides a moisture free mirror viewing! This is a great value, and all adhesives are marked 3M, and I hope the perform as such..

It's really hard for me to see around the bed of my pickup, and I don't have new-fangled technology to help me "see" in the blind spots with beeping alarms to tell me when a car is there. I've just got good ole side view mirrors and having these extra fisheye mirrors to help me see who's there is a safety plus. It took some getting used to at first - knowing where exactly to look and deciphering what I see since the mirror distorts the reflection a little around the edges. And I also had to have help to position the mirrors exactly where I wanted them to point - had to do that from the driver's seat while my friend moved the mirrors. They are very easy to adjust (manually), and the adhesion is fine. The mirrors have fins that are contoured to the shape of the inside of the truck's side view mirrors. You just remove the double sided sticky tape and press. I did clean first with a pad of alcohol. The mirrors are holding tight. I'm not disappointed in these, and with time, I'll get better at using them.
