I have a truck and I don't have the fancy automatic blind spot monitor. This is just as good. It has just enough size and just enough curvature that I can quickly look into the mirror and see the complete blind spot. In Houston traffic sometimes you don't have time to do the over the shoulder because of the crazy drivers around you, so this is really handy to make sure I'm not going to careen into someone. Not expensive, easy to install, they've stuck through a few rainstorms and although they are adjustable, they seem to stay in the place you put them until you adjust them. All in all, I'm happy.

I bought this for our new car as it lacked this feature. They are easy to apply. Also came with extras in the event of falling off. We have had extreme rain lately and those are still holding tight. Only downside need someone in passenger seat to adjust so you get right angle. Overall great product.
