Good mouthpiece, very clear tone. I especially recommend it for the high notes, since they are much easier to reach and hold. If I had to play mostly on the low range I'd go for a 6.5 or 7c though.

My daughter absolutely loves this mouthpeice! Her rental instrument came with a generic 6.5AL, but after starting to learn her instrument it was obvious to me (and her) that the mouthpeice was just too large for her. Not sure if my daughter would stick with trombone, I decided against an expensive bach mouthpeice and got this Blessing 12C instead!. The rim is a little thicker, and the cup is shallower than a 6.5AL which ended up being perfect for my daughter! The frustrations my daughter had were quickly alleviated and her playing progressed quickly!She decided to stick with her instrument, and eventually I will get her another "better quality" mouthpeice. However, this is perfect for new students, or very young musicians. Most new students will end up denting the shank, so it is much cheaper to replace this mouthpeice than an $80 Bach mouthpeice.

It is a good design. I play the Euphonium and can get the high notes pretty easy. It is losing a bit of its original color but works perfect.

I was given a P-Bone, and am relearning my lost trombone skills. It has been over 50 years since I actively played. Nonetheless, I want a metal mouthpiece, and ordered this one.

I have been playing trombone for 5 years now and have lots of experience with the trombone. This mouthpiece is well made, works as well as any other mouthpiece its just this one had a better price. I recommend it instead of the $40 or $50 mouthpieces, works just as well.
