I do all my own bike maintenance. And bleeding brakes is an essential task. The job of bleeding can be easy (shimano) or hard (avid/sram)I got rid of my old Avid because the bleeding process was so nasty. Now I only have on.y shamano brakes on my bikes and bleeding is easy. This kit is good because it has all of the things you need without anything superfluous. They have a few different quality levels of kits, and I found that even the basic kit is perfectly good. There are generic kits available on amazon which i personally would avoid. They have a whole lot of stuff you don't need and quality is often poor. If you have shimano, just get a shimano kit only.

It is very easy to use, immediately got the job done. Just be VERY careful when threading the cup, do it slowly and with little force, cross threading will cause issues. 5/5 for value and results! Cheaper than taking the bike to the shop.

All the pieces fit where they were supposed to. The online video instructions were clear and simple to follow and easy to access via QR code.

I’ve never bled my brakes before, but the BleedZone Bike Bleed Kit for Shimano Brakes had everything I needed to get the job done. My MTB brakes weren’t engaging properly, but after using this kit, they’re now working perfectly. The process was easier than I expected, and it ended up being much cheaper than a bike shop visit. Highly recommend if you want to DIY your brake maintenance and save some money!

I am always skeptical of budget, aftermarket tools, hardware, and maintenance kits for my bike because my life literally depends in the gear functioning 100%. I can say with zero doubt that this bleed kit works flawlessly as advertised, and is actually much better than the OEM Bleed Kit from Shimano. The funnel and removable stopper work perfectly, the syringe and bleed tube are better quality that the Shimano one. I prefer how this bleed tube is more flexible; making it easier to put onto the bleed port nipple. The mineral oil looks and smells just like Genuine Shimano Mineral Oil as well. The last touch that truly sets this kit above the Shimano kit is the inclusion of 2 velcro straps to cinch down your levers (useful for getting stubborn air bubbles out of the line) and an awesomely designed caliper block that allows for perfect centering of the brake caliper after the bleed is complete.Save some money and buy this kit instead of the over priced and unerwhelming Shimano OEM kit.NOTE: only comes with enough fluid for 1 good brake bleed, so make sure to buy more if you are olanning on doing more than one brake.

Good value for the money. No bike shops on the island are selling a do it yourself kit for shimano or the correct oil.Mt200. Watched a few videos on bleedzone. None were specific to my brakes but i understood the procedure to follow from quick videos. I kept the tires on but removed the brake assembly which was easy. Just search for the covered inlet port and the allen screw to open the system as its sort of hidden on the mt200.Used 15ml in the rear brakes and it pushed up the old oil and bubbles to the lever cup. Works great again. Just a few metric allens as noted on the bleedzone video. There is enough mineral oil in the bottle to do 2 bikes, front and rear. The disc brakes are amazing but we were dooped into hydraulic. We dont have to pay shop prices also to maintain. You can do this.

This was actually a pretty decent kit, but it absolutely DOES NOT FIT SHIMANO GRX! Specifically the Cup that fits at the top of the Brake Lever that is critical to this whole thing working, will not thread into the Fluid Port. It is much too small! I had to return the kit and was unfortunately a waste of my time.

Decent setup and worked just as planned. The velcro strap was kind of a joke in that it was too short to wrap around the lever and grip - could be 2" longer to just give some room and wouldn't cost too much. Otherwise would have been a 5 star experience.I would say it would have been nice to add a bag and extra tube to catch fluid. I'll make one for the next time to keep the mess to a minimum.
