Great little shop vac but make sure it’s the size you need. I wish I had gone with a bigger model but that’s on me. Other than that it works perfectly with great suction. Great for small jobs.

Needed a small enough vacuum to tuck away easily and powerful enough to clean around a fireplace stove that gets used heavily all winter long. This unit handles everything with ease and tremendous power. Two previous rechargeable one hand portable vac's with about 6 ounce capacity were total jokes.

I have 2 cockatiels and needless to say, they are very messy eaters. I don't like using my Shark vacuum when the seed shells start to pile up so it works great for that. Good suction, well worth the money.

I've used a lot of different shop vacs, but this is the smallest one I've ever owned. I'm impressed with the suction power it has, especially considering how small it is. And of course the fact that it can handle water in addition to regular dust/dirt (as with most decent shop vacs) gives it a leg up over using a regular dry-dirt-only vacuum when it comes to cleaning up some spills, drips, or leaks, etc.The relatively small size of this vacuum is a big benefit in terms of portability -- it can't touch the pure power of my larger shop vacuums, but when it comes time to clean up something in my living room or car that my regular cordless house vacuums might struggle with, I'm often hesitant to bother pulling out one of my larger shop vacuums from my basement or workshop shed ... So in those times, having a mini shop vac like this handy that I can easily store in a closet or car trunk (or take up and down the stairs without a struggle) is beneficial. You can even hang it from a wall.However, the portability of this unit is kinda limited in that it is a corded -- which ordinarily I don't mind, because corded vacuums are always the strongest in terms of suction power, and when you're working with a shop vac you usually want something strong enough to pick up heavier things (like water or wood chips, or even leaves or small nails, etc.) -- but for a nice small shop vac like this that would be perfect for vacuuming out a car or truck, the fact that it's small and portable just kinda seems less convenient when I also have to haul out a long extension cord if I want to use it for something like a car that's not necessarily close to an electrical outlet.Also, as another reviewer noted, unlike a lot of (usually bigger) shop vacs, this little shop vac can't be used as a blower -- it only has a vacuum (intake) mode.In general I like the Black+Decker brand and the pop of orange coloring on this vac is fun to, helping to make it stand out and easier to find once put away in the garage or a closet, so I look forward to using this little vacuum more in the future.

This is certainly not a machine you're going to pass down to future generations. The waste receptacle is made of thin plastic and is held to the motor unit by clips molded on it. It has a wall mount hanger, but no provision to store the accessories, hose, or cord. The instructions say to remove the cloth bag , which is retained by a thin plastic ring, for wet pickup, while leaving the foam filter in place. I'm not sure what use the foam filter is since it doesn't cover the holes in the bottom of the filter cage. The machine has a rather strong odor that might be objectionable for some folks. The cord and hose are both fairly short and the hose is pretty stiff. All that being said, the vacuum has good suction and picks up dirt and liquids well. I purchased it to clean running shoes and clean up after cat hairball incidents, and for that, it works well. It is pretty simple to clean by sucking up some spray cleaner and then some water to clean the hose and then rinsing the inside of the vacuum with a sink rinser. For the price, it is certainly good enough for what I needed.

This little vacuum is super powerful. I tried dry vacuuming some carpet that I did with a regular vacuum cleaner, and this little vac was able to even pick up sand in the carpet that the regular vacuum didn't.Using it as a wet vac, I forgot to take out the blue cloth filter, so it didn't work. Once I took out the blue cloth filter and left the black plastic mesh filter in it worked great.The only downside is that it only picks up about half a gallon of water before it needs to be emptied. If you have a garage, I would recommend a larger one. Since I live in a condo, it works out great for me because it doesn't take up much storage space in the closet.
