Review for “BLACK+DECKER Shop Vacuum Wet and Dry, 4 Gallon 3.0 Peak HP, Portable Shop Vac with Accessories, Home and Car Vacuum Cleaner(BDXV18301P-4A)”This works well and is a great option if you need a smaller size for more household use and less work project use. I like pretty much everything about this except three things:1. The hose is a little short. If you use this to clean something on a raised surface, you only have enough hose to go from the floor to a workbench. It met my needs, but the unit had to stay right next to me.2. Accessories were plentiful, which is great! However once you assemble the vacuum, you have no good place to store them. I ended up keeping the accessories, including the hose, in the original box. That doubles the space this takes up in your storage.3. It’s lightweight. This is mostly a positive, since it is easy to carry where you need it to go, including around the house, but it is not heavy enough to stay on the floor when empty and you wish you had a longer hose.Overall, I am very pleased with this wet dry vac, and the positives outweigh any negatives. This is definitely a wet dry vac for lighter household and only occasional project use rather than a full shop vac. Happy vacuuming!

Bought this because i was tired of hauling my regular vac up and down the stairs to my basement. I needed also a wet/dry vac for the garage and cleaning out my car. This size is perfect for me, and sucks up dog/cat hair, dust and anything else you need to clean up. Black and Decker did a great job on this little fire cracker.

This is a very well built vacuum that has so far exceeded my expectations. The build quality is top-notch and it feels like it will hold up forever. It has a great amount of suction without being overly loud. It's just the right size for my workshop. It comes with a decent selection of starter attachments. Great vacuum for the price!

I'm very pleased with this compact wet and dry shop vac. The vac is easy to store (it's about the size of a 5 gallon bucket), the small accessories fit inside the tub for storage and the power cord wraps and clips in place. The vac is sturdy, powerful and it's very simple to operate.There is just a bit of assembly required (you add the wheels and the handle), which I was able to do just fine with a manual Phillips head screw driver. The Instruction Manual is very helpful as it gives step by step assembly instructions as well as wet and dry vacuuming instructions (in particular, I had to pay close attention to the filter set up instructions for wet versus dry vacuuming). Great to have on-hand and I'm glad it is from a brand that I trust and have used products from for years.

While I impulsively ordered this apartment-sized "shop vac" in tribute to my long-since dearly departed dad, who kept one quite like this, only larger, down in his basement workbench area, for cleaning up after his myriad maintenance, repair & construction projects around the house...I'm surprised and more than a bit embarrassed to now admit this smaller, more apartment-sized version has turned out to be one of the single most practical items I've ordered online in recent years!While there's no basement or garage attached to our apartment here in the big city, I'm embarrassed to admit I've lived here for more than two years without any kind of equipment like this that could SO much more quickly and efficiently assist me in properly cleaning and maintaining all the tile and hardwood floors & surfaces throughout our apartment!
