We bought this microwave for home use, over the stove in our kitchen. The first thing we noticed was how loud opening and closing the door was. We liked the panel. It was easy to operate and heating and cooking worked well. After about 4 months we notice a crack starting on the upper right of the door. As you can tell from the picture it continued to crack and is now 1 1/2 inches long. The crack goes all the way through the top of the door and into the microwave as well. We do not know if it's safe to use now. Of course we didn't opt for the insurance. Although this was a "good deal" and works well, it just isn't worth it! Disappointed in Arizona!!

Great appliance great price. No fancy options or wiFi capabilities that you just dont need. It heats your food, has a spinning center dish all easily removable and easy to clean. Install was very easy. Comes with a full size template you can tape to the wall and mark mounting locations. Very pleased. Replaced our last one we had for 25 years.

My husband and a friend installed this microwave above or stove in around 2 ish hours. It works great and was a very reasonable price.

This was literally the only microwave on the market that would replace our old unit. As is well known, microwaves have gotten bigger. This one fit our old space perfectly. From the dimensions posted it seemed like it would be one inch lower, but when we got it into position it was so close in size to the old one that we were able to use the old bracket! Manufactured by Midea, a well known brand in China.

Finally had to replace my GE Spacemaker (after 30 years) so after much research, settled on this Black and Decker. Microwaves have greatly increased in size in 30 years, and with my cabinets already built around the GE Spacemaker, I was not willing to cut into them or not being able to see my back burners (you know what I mean).My cabinets only came out from the wall 13 inches, and this was the only microwave that would fit perfect. All the others had the microwave sticking out 3-4 inches PAST the cabinets. Height also sent me to Black and Decker, as this was only 1/2 inch of an increase in height.I paid only $263 after tax. Try to beat that. The vent shoots the air out of the top at an angle upwards. Double surface lights to see what's cooking on the stove. It does the same things an $800 microwave does. The more gagets you have, the more that can go wrong with it. It's a basic microwave, with all the necessary buttons. Very satisfied.

This was a great purchase . Best microwave for money. It defrosted frozen meat so quickly you have to be careful not to actually cook it.

One year report; Very pleased with everything on this particular model, except for how the door closes, it closes loud. Would be a better unit if the door had a softer close. The cooking options are very user friendly and the cooking power is good. The fan noise is about average or slightly quieter than others I've owned. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I had my old microwave for 23 years. It was damaged when we had a power outage and the surge, when it came back on, blew something inside. I had to replace it. I went online to try to find another white microwave. This is the only white one I could find. B & D has an excellent reputation so I wasn’t worried about purchasing it. However, in comparison with my old Kenmore, the door feels flimsy and the down lights are not as bright, but it does an excellent job of heating food and that’s why I like it. It’s cheaper to buy than most microwaves listed. I’m definitely glad I bought it.
