Works well for cat hair. The manual is a little unclear about how to clean it. There are two filters inside one another. They unclip with little tabs. The inner filter gets really full quickly in my house and the suction drops dramatically. But a quick rinse and over night dry and it's back in business.

This is an amazing little vacuum. It is a very powerful device and with the roller attachment it can clean up just as quick as a full-size vacuum. It has a large storage area for dirt and is super easy to clean. Other handheld vacuums were fussy to open and clean, but this is super easy. The battery seems to last a long time (I have never run out of power yet) and there are two settings so that you can do light or heavy-duty cleaning. The charging cord is quite long and easy to attach (although I would have preferred a charging cradle to set the vacuum in). This is an excellent product and an excellent buy.

Pet attachment is great for furniture, stairs, small runners. To clean it, I use scissors to cut the hair out. Love the extendable nozzle, b/c I don't have to bend to the floor. Plus. It gets in narrow spaces, like under the fridge.Vacuum has double filter, easy to dump and clean the whole thing. Plenty of power and battery. RECOMMEND!!

For the most part this little vacuum does a great job. If you keep it cleaned out, it has great suction and great power. I don’t have pets so pet hair is not an issue in my house, but we do have 3 girls in the house and the vacuum picks human hair up just as well, I can imagine! The two speeds are nice especially with stubborn lady bugs that do not want to get sucked up! It doesn’t need to charge long to get it up and going again. It’s super easy to store as I store it under my sink and plug it into the outlet that’s down there for my dishwasher 👌🏼

This one to me was worth the buy, solid dust buster for those smaller messes and vacuuming out the car. The extending nozzle is great for getting under the seats and the carpet attachment works well too.People complaining about lack of power etc maybe haven’t owned a cordless dust buster before? For the size and value it’s excellent but you can never compare a handheld dust buster to a corded home vacuum etc.

Llego en buenas condiciones. Buena calidad. Funciona bien aspirando pero de mascotas aunque el pelo muy finito sino esta tan acumulado se batalla al recogerlo pero en general funciona muy bien

For the complaints:1. When using the pet attachment if you push it away from you it's great. Picks up my dog's needle-like fur with ease. If you pull it towards you while vacuuming it has a tendency to detach and lose suction. I think this is a design flaw with the extension partially coming out.2. I did read another person having issues and I also experienced the filter housing detaching each time you empty the bin. I need to use my hands to grab the fur/dust from the filter housing. Not a huge deal, but it should be noted.3. No wall attachment offered of any kind. It's kind of annoying that it needs to be resting on a flat surface of some kind and I wish I could easily mount I on the wall. Oh, well. The pros are that it has a couple power options and it does a great job vacuuming up dirt/dust and fur. It's not too heavy and I can easily task my 8 year-old to clean up small messes in the house. Battery life seems great in the lower power setting, but I think of I were to use the higher power setting it wouldn't last 20 minutes or so.I'll come back and edit this if my opinion changes as this is only my initial impressions.

This Black and Decker DustBuster is American and as Jacqueline has said it will NOT work in UK and in the product details says nothing about needing a converter, I should not be giving the DustBuster 5 stars really because of this non information but the machine is excellent

This product Is not fit for purpose given it is positioned as a pet-vacuum. I bought it as I wanted something to suck up my dog's fur on the carpet and on timber surfaces. It does neither with any effectiveness!I have previously owned B&D hand vacuums and they have worked well but this is probably the worst vacuum I have ever had the misfortune of buying. It doesn't even really work in the car.Don't waste your money - it is a not a pet vacuum, not even a dust buster. Rather, buy the Dyson option which costs a little more but is infinitely superior in vacuuming up pet hair

I'm a single guy who lives alone, so I really don't make much of a mess other than some crumbs and dirt that I track inside. The two miniature panthers I live with; however, are disgusting heathens who leave hair, more hair, and even more hair all over the place. I was looking for something that would allow me to take care of quick messes instead of breaking out the evil vacuum that gives the panthers night terrors: my pizza crumbs, or perhaps a glob of hair that one certain panther likes to leave behind every so often. So I thought I did some good research and found the right dust buster for me. I read tons of reviews, both good and bad, checked out the specs, and even looked at what spare parts are available since it could be a sign of what breaks most often. Boom. Sold. It arrived today, and my initial impression was: "meh". After a few hours to get it charged up, I took it for a test spin on hardwood floors, a countertop, some carpet, and a couch cushion. The second most annoying thing about this dust buster (I'll get the most annoying in moment) is that you have to cycle through both the low and high speeds to turn it off, and there seems to be a small delay in transitioning between the speeds and turning off. In other words, you can't just press the power button twice very quickly. You have to press it once, let it cycle into what sounds like a launch of some sort of space rocket, and then press again a second or two later to get it to turn off. This drove me nuts. The suction was OK on the hard surfaces, but it sucked - or rather didn't suck so well on carpeting and the fabric cushion. The most annoying thing about this is that the pre-filter and filter (they're connected) fall out when you go to empty the thing. The instructions and common sense state to hold it over a trash bin, press the release button on the canister, and lightly shake to get the debris out. This happens before the light shaking even begins. After a bit of detective work, I was able to determine that this is caused by the pre-filter. It's simply too heavy to allow the filter to remain attached. Aside from being the thing that will make you go fishing through whatever you just sucked up to retrieve it, the pre-filter does a great job of caking and compacting dust that will surely burn up the motor sooner rather than later.Third most annoying thing (only going to list three, but I could go on) is that there is no place to mount it, the charger is awkwardly designed - don't break or lose it (and is white?), and it just doesn't fit anywhere. It's not some sort of showpiece I want out on display for all to see, but who has electrical outlets in their hallway closet to charge something like this? You'll be stuck with this sitting out in a room, which isn't so bad when it's brand new out of the box, but disgusting after one use.I know some people seem to love this thing, but some people also take a lot of medication. Maybe there is a correlation there, maybe there isn't. My advice is to stay away from it. Far away.
