I have used B&D for some time. Just started doing a lot of home repairs. (Getting ready for winter)I am slightly disappointed with the battery. Seems it has some internal damage or defect since it will not charge. Even after switching to other charger. So, write this one off. Otherwise happy with the tool.

I had never used an electric saw before, and this was easy to use. I have used B&D drills before. Their products hold up and are very durable. I especially like being able to charge the battery, as I am on solar off-grid.

I absolutely love all my black & decker battery tools. They work great & at a reasonable price. I love that they all share the same batteries. I have plenty of extra batteries so it’s easy to accomplish any project at hand.

Good value for the money. It's more for moderate use, not very active. I'm use this jigsaw sometimes and I can say I recommend it for moderate use, it's not heavy duty. But it will be amazing tool to use from time to time

compared to other brands this is by far the most affordable and I have used it and it performs well. it comes with a speed jigsaw blade, HSS for wood. excellent buy as it already comes with 1 20v 1.5mah battery too! complete package for DIYers like me. happy customer here

This jigsaw is a good value. For homeowners doing basic woodworking, this tool will handle it just fine. It doesn't have an abundance of features (e.g., no scroll feature), but it is well made and will get the job done. The saw will accept both U-shank and T-shank blades. Blade changes are quick, easy, and tool-free. Good weight and feels very solid. And of course, if you already have 20V Max batteries on-hand from other B+D tools, adding another battery and charger to your arsenal at this price point seems like a no-brainer.
