I recently used this black silicone sealant for a couple of projects and had a pretty good experience. The first project was on my truck bed where I needed something durable to seal some small leaks and adhere strip lighting to the side walls. This caulk worked well on the truck bed material, sticking securely and holding up in temperature extremes, which was important for this outdoor application. It’s not the easiest to work with—silicone is sticky and a bit harder to smooth out than acrylic caulk, but with a bit of patience, I was able to get a clean finish. I also liked that it dries fast, which made the job go quickly. The second project was sealing some areas around windows and a bathroom where I specifically needed black caulk. I appreciated how well it blended with the darker surfaces, giving everything a nice, seamless look. The silicone seems to be holding up well in terms of flexibility and waterproofing, even with humidity fluctuations. It’s a good fit for areas that see thermal cycling or moisture exposure.Overall, the product did what I needed, and I'm confident it'll perform well over time. One thing to note is that it doesn’t come with a sealing cap for the tube, so I had to improvise one to keep it from drying out between uses. Still, for the price, this black silicone is a solid option for anyone looking to tackle repairs or sealing jobs around the house, truck, or outside.

Good quality caulk that worked great on the treehouse I built last summer. The quality seems to be on par with caulk you'd find at your local home improvement store. The 1-pack is pricy but the 4 pack is a decent deal.

I picked this up to re-caulk some damaged areas around windows and bathroom where I specifically needed black silicone caulk. It works just as well as any other silicone caulk; it isn't as easy to install as acrylic caulk because the silicone is more "sticky" and doesn't smooth out as easily. However once installed it should (hopefully) hold up a lot better to thermal cycling and humidity exposure.Don't expect to make a claim on that 15 year warranty; even big brands like DAP don't honour them and good luck finding a random no-name vendor after a decade. That said, as long as the caulk is indeed pure silicone as claimed, it should be just as good as the big names.

This caulking tube from BEBOBLY works well with wood. Since I wasn't familiar with this brand, I figured it has to work with wood as wood is porous and I was right. My job required some form of adhesive to adhere two very long pieces of wood together and although wood glue would have worked, I thought it was the wrong product because of the large surface area. This caulking material spread fast and easily covered the required area. After the wood was clamped overnight, the job was a success. The instructions listed on the side of the caulking tube advised that the most suitable temperature to apply is 75°F and when fully cured, which is 3 days after application, the product will maintain good performance between -122°F and 302°F. The tube also has a shelf life of 12 months even without opening. Since mine was stamped '2024/12-2025/12', 1½ months has lapsed so my caulking was nice and fresh.

This tube of silicone is a standard size, and the dating is good to the end of the year. I would say it is as good as the brand name tubes I have used from the local hardware store, although it is premium priced, so I would expect it to be. It adheres well once fully dried and cured. For the premium price of this, I would have expected it to have a tube sealing cap or cover, as I did not use much for the job and had to make a temporary one until I get to the hardware store to keep it from drying out before the next use.

I recently applied this black silicone caulk to an outdoor project on my house, filling gaps around dark brick where white or clear caulk would have been too noticeable. My goal was to find a product that blended in, remained flexible, and was durable against the weather, and this seemed like the perfect fit. For application, I utilized a tooling kit and some Windex to smooth it out and stop it from sticking to me and my tools, which made a significant difference. Silicone can be challenging to handle due to its stickiness and the difficulty of cleaning up with just water, but with the right tools, I achieved a nice, even bead with minimal mess. It also skins over relatively quickly, so it’s essential to work efficiently.Once cured, the black colour matched the brick flawlessly, resulting in a clean, seamless appearance. It is completely waterproof, and after several rainfalls, it’s performing excellently with no indications of peeling or shrinking. I also observed that it remains flexible, which is crucial for outdoor applications where temperature fluctuations can lead to expansion and contraction.A few things to consider: the smell is potent during application, which is typical for silicone, so ensuring good ventilation is necessary. Additionally, cleanup can be somewhat tedious—silicone doesn't wipe off like acrylic caulk, so having rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits handy is advisable. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. If you’re working with dark surfaces like brick or trim and need a long-lasting, weather-resistant seal, black silicone caulk is an excellent choice. Just remember to use the proper tools for a smooth finish.

I bought this caulking to use on our RV where black caulking would blend in areas that are painted black. TheFeatures that I like-* NO UNPLEASANT SMELL* Formaldehyde-free, solvent-free, non-toxic, odorless, very low VOC emission and other outstanding environmental characteristics, to the environment and the human body.* Resilience and flexibility, ensuring its adaptability in a range of temperatures.* The waterproof sealant will dry in 30 minutes and let it cure for 24 hours.* Spreads smoothly, great consistency* Claims to be good in temperature extremes.*But...... Must be used in three days? Perishable like food? This caulking/sealant goes on nicely, smooth and spreads like butter. In all usage, it is pleasant and looks like a winner. Unfortunately, the one important feature can not be determined. How it holds up in a year or two. Will it loose its grip? allow water to leak past its foot? I can't say. Only time will tell. As for application, it is a Five Star Product

Product came packaged well, and I do like the removable spout is a good idea.I'm reluctant to use this product at this time, and therefore this review focuses a lot on the literature. The intention is to resolve imperfections and some gaps in a 1/8" Heavy Duty Silicone Rubber Roll Sheeting (sold separately on Amazon) in a summer cabin, currently winterized. To provide access to everything that needs fixing, I'd have to remove some cabinetry and a sink. I would need to wait for reasonably warm days, and consequently span the install over two or three weeks. My concern with the literature is that it doesn't specify an operating range, only on the cartridge itself, saying 75degrees? Not a range, just an optimal temperature! What seems worse is the statement that you should use the product within three days of opening. Seriously? What could be the reasons for this: 1) The 10.2 oz tube does in fact dry out in very short time - which would be totally impractical, or 2) it is overzealous legal protection of some sort. Or, (3) let's hope it is just a typo. It just rubs me the wrong way when, after reading through 300 words of sales pitches, one cannot find the key information to help you use the product.Even though the caulk itself might turn out just fine, I feel compelled to take off a star for the awkward product description.

This is some good quality silicone. I know this is not a big selling point for a lot of people, but the tube it is in also appears to be really well made. It has a removable tip so you can puncture the tube easily from the top without a special tool or you can put a new tip on if you need to cut a different size. The sealant holds strong and adheres well to plastic, which is what I needed it for. My roof rack covers aren’t completely sealed off and water can get inside, so this is perfect for keeping it out and keeping it mold free. I’m not sure how well it prevents mold, but it says 15 years mold free, so we’ll see. No complaints so far.

I like this sealant because the nozzle comes separate from the tube itself, making it a lot easier to seal for re-use later on. It's also easier to cut the nozzle into the right pattern/size to fit your needs.the sealant color is good and solid on this black silicone. I've used some in the past where the color was not as solid when applied.the one thing that is not shown in the product info, and definitely should be considered: when sealing aquariums, as this type of caulking is suppose to be good for, you look for 100% silicone without additive - while the product says 100% silicone, it also says 15 year mold free, which suggests that there's additive for mold in there, which is NOT good for aquariums. the fine print on the product also says "not suitable for surfaces soaked in water for long time", so definitely not for aquariums.as long as you're not planning to use it on aquarium, this is a pretty good product.
