These are small - original purpose is for camera straps, although the AMAZON listing doesn't show that. Yes, the size is posted, but my spatially-challenged mind didn't comprehend just how small these are - not large/sturdy enough for the purpose I purchased them for (canine handling equipment), but considering all the lanyards/key fobs and other stuff I do with knotwork and braiding, these will come in handy somewhere - very sturdy and well-made, swivel rotates smoothly, and the black finish will be of interest/use.

I was looking for a tool that would allow me to attach or remove the neck strap from my camera more quickly so I got these little swivel snap hooks to try them out.I use a Sony a6000 in a SmallRig cage with a left hand grip, these hooks have no problem at all supporting the weight of my camera in this configuration. I've tried adding a flash or a video light and a microphone and the hooks still feel secure enough.I also like the black finish on them as it matches the rig and the camera perfectly, since they work exactly as advertised I'm giving them 5 stars and my recommendation.

I needed a pair of smaller swivel snap hooks to make a double ended paracord connector for my dog’s leash. Many of the smaller snaphooks seem to be jewelry grade and cheaply made. These snap hooks are sturdy and made of die cast zinc, and they are very similar to the larger snap hook on the leash.The photo shows these snap hooks compared to a standard snap hook on a leash along side a ruler.

Used these for dog leads. Seem pretty strong. Not superior quality, but they get the job done.

Perhaps I need to learn how these measure before ordering in the future. Much too small for my needs , and to return them is gonna cost me almost as much as I paid for them .
