it seems like the surfaces between the 2 halves are not smooth, it binds up when rotating. I am also a little concerned with the fact that it is a screw that holds the 2 halves together.

This swivel after being installed to my ceiling track patient lift looks as if it was made to perfectly fit in this instance. It has a streamlined connectivity. My caregivers can now swivel the whole body lift with this swivel in-line. When being lifted I go with no hesitation because of the pound rating designed into this swivel being way overkill in my case. didn’t want it to break from side tension so i put a link between anchor and swivel. i also installed two of them one on anchor end and one where rope connects to chain. i don’t like my rope getting twisted up. only had this for a month or so. packed it with marine grease and swivels like butter! hoping i didn’t install two weakest links. time will tell i suppose.

Smaller than I expected. The metal parts grind together when I apply any pulling pressure. It does not spin freely.

The SHENGHUISS Heavy Duty Boat Anchor Chain Swivel wouldn't swivel well / smoothly until after I manually forced it to swivel and applied lubrication. The swivel functions well after manually working the swivel back and forth and then lubricating it. The manual effort to make the unit swivel properly was worth the cost savings compared with price of other units.

Replaced older swivel when I put on a new 16 lb anchor . Have a 5/8 chain. The new swivel works perfectly and is of high quality.
