I have used 1 and kept the other in the box since I don’t know where it’s needed. It took a couple tried to get it angled to the driveway but it goes off when cars pull in my driveway! We don’t have visibility to see if someone is pulling in and these are great for the price and work like a charm! Highly recommend! Range is great. I screwed it into a tree with the screws it came with.

Could not get the ring to set, no matter what I did. Finally junked it and bought a better one. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Four things make this better than previous driveway alarms I've had: 1) It is solidly constructed with all needed attachment hardware including a small screwdirver; 2) The 58 alarm sounds provide everything from single tone melodic sounds to actual orchestrated sounds; 3) Though other driveway alarms need separate receivers, this one with one receiver and two transmitters is very easy to set up different alarm sounds for each transmitter; and 4) The verticle detection angle is15 degrees and the horizontal detection angle is 45 degrees which helps to avoid false small animal alarms. Overall, so far, they do what they're supposed to do. The seller does not gouge you for the price.

I do like the various tunes to tell me what area is In jeopardy. I probably will get 2 more units. I have one acre with 3 gates, garage, storage shed and tool shed. They go real good with my video security system.

I bought this alert system to notify me when skunks were present terrorizing my back yard. Seems that a family of Skunks decided to move onto my property one day wreaking havoc to my well groomed lawn. I set up these alerts to notify me when they were present in the area so they could be delt with accordingly. Although these alert sensors didn't work effectively for me in this situation, particularly on small animals, they do alert well for people and vehicles. Customer service was exceptional even though my complaint was outside the 30 day return window. Five stars goes for excellent customer service!
