For what it is and what it does it’s pretty expensive. But, I’ve ruined a new brush bar some damage to a carpet while doing sofa cushions and pillows leaving the carpet cleaner in the same spot while using the handheld.Disengage the brushes while the unit is locked upright and engage them when unlocked would save some grief.

This tray does work really well when cleaning the rollers. It’s also good to be able to stand the machine on this while using the accessory tools, because the brushes still run and you wouldn’t want to leave it on a rug or a bare floor for any length of time with the brushes running in one place. It’s also good to have a place to leave the machine when it’s still damp after using it. For the price of the machine I kind of wish it just included the tray in the first place, I know sometimes it’s part of the package, but it was still worth buying on its own.
