I have been wanting to get a bill scanner for years now, and i found the right one. So far it has been very accurate and fast responding as well. And for the price it is well worth the investment. And surprisingly its very easy to transport around with no issues. What would make this bill detector the best if it were battery operated. Great buy for the price and investment.

This currency counter is intended to have either EUR or USD inserted one note at a time, and, for successfully read notes, keeps track of both the quantity of bills read, along with the total value of all successfully processed notes.USD must be inserted to the right of the reader in order to be read properly, otherwise an E11 error occurs. I found that the number of times that the notes were rejected was high, even for valid banknotes, and even when inserted to the right.This is a good-enough quality device, and proficiency will probably come with use, but for the average user, it’s probably faster to both count and verify manually. The device seems to use an infrared image to check validity of bank notes.

We have been using this to test money when we get sales. Its nice to be able to feel assured we arent taking in fake bills. It counts quickly and can detect all bills easily.

I do many odd jobs on the side which pay in cash. So, I thought this would be a good way to make sure that I receive legitimate currency and count my money at the same time. However, this device doesn't make that solution as easy as it proclaims. It snatches the money out of your hands too quickly and as a result rejects your cash half the time. I found that if you guide it in close to the wall and keep it flat it works more reliably. It slows you down and takes the accuracy when you're not sure where the count is after putting the same note through several times. When you find a rhythm it works well. In my opinion, it is more of a novelty rather than a business machine.

I found it a bit difficult to use. You have to get the bill just right otherwise it will not read properly. I do not feel this is very reliable when trying to work in a fast paced environment where you need to be checking the bills right away. You can only do 1 bill at a time so its not very convenient.
