The playground is on the smaller side, but I’ve come to use this perch for training my little Sun Conure on. The different level perches helps her with easily climbing down or up to where she wants to be. Not a big fan of the swing. She’s tried getting on it several times though, the wooden seat on the swing keeps twisting and then she falls off. Overall still a good little playground for her.

Until now I’ve made my own play gyms as the ones I have seen in stores are just glued together and not easy to clean. As soon as you open the box the sweet smelling wood is amazing. It is all put together by screws so you end up with a nice firm toy. Love how light weight it is as you don’t want some clunky heavy thing on top of a wire cage. Nice touch having two pots so they don’t have to go back inside their cage to eat. The selling point for me was the removable tray so you can easily clean up after the birds have had their fun.Would definitely buy other variations of these gyms as I couldn’t be more satisfied.

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR BIRD OR IT WILL KILL IT. The playpen is fine but what will kill him is the hose claps that are holding the food bowls on. The are made out iron and steel. Our baby bird pecked at them and the iron killed him according to my vet. I contacted Amazon and they were very understanding and help me out. I just don’t want any other birds be killed by this product. My poor 9 year old has is devastated. Please don’t kill your bird with this product.

Once I finally realized the instructions that came with the playground were incorrect, I was able to put the thing together (thank goodness assembly instructions were on the product’s page). With the right instructions, I had it assembled within 20 min. It did come with a nifty combination Phillips screwdriver and hex key. That was a neat touch. The only other issue I had was one of the perches was not stable because the metal thingy that holds the screw came out. It still has plenty of perches, so that was only a minor inconvenience. The food and water bowls made up for it, in my opinion.Overall - solid product but you may need to go back to the product page for assembly instructions. :)

I got this for my cockatiel, he began plucking after the loss of my parrot, so I try to keep him busy on these perches. While this has a lot of things to do, I have two main things I really don't like in the design.First, I wish the tray underneath was wider than the play area itself. It runs parallel to the perches above it, and small or little bird, the poop doesn't end up in the tray where you can easily just put a liner under if it did. Instead, if the bird is pointed with the tail outward, there it goes on whatever you have this placed down on. This is the same problem with the little swing. I assumed it was removable and it isn't, so instead it also becomes a poop collector. This design is definitely better for a small bird like a parakeet, but the same problem would still be there. For what it is, though, it is very sturdy, amd it is nice with a lot for the birds to do.

The bird playground came broken. And not to mention the steel tray, it look like it was handle by a bunch of donkeys. Plus there were only 3 big screws and there was supposed to be 4 of them. I couldn’t even built the playground. It’s the worst experience I’ve had on Amazon. I would not recommend this to anyone. DON’T BUY THIS! Waste of money and time.

While I think this is meant for smaller bird like parakeets, I think it’s also just the right size for a little conure playground. I bought this so my bird had her own designated place to spend time with me on the other side of the house from where her cage is. It fits perfectly on top of the printer! Like many people in the reviews, I also wish the base stuck out more to catch droppings, but as you can see from the pictures, it’s easily fixed by putting a paper towel under the base. Not the most aesthetic fix, but an easy one nonetheless. When it’s fresh out of the packaging, there’s also A LOT of sawdust, and at first glance, it seemed cheaply made. However, I just wiped everything down with a damp cloth and the perches turned out very smooth. When screws are tightened, everything’s really sturdy. Overall, I’d say it’s well worth the money!

I just put the playground together and love it. It is very well made and simple to assemble. I agree with a few reviews I saw that mention perches hanging over the "poop tray", but if that ends up being an issue, I'll just remove the two - there are plenty left!In order to get full use out of all the gadgets (swing, ladder, etc.) this really needs to be for small birds. Think parakeet, parrotlet, lovebird, finch. A cockatiel or conure would be okay, but just a little limited. That said, I am very pleased with the product.

My two parakeets love, love this little playground. The spend a lot of time on the little swinging bridge, playing with the bell and just generally hanging out on it.I didn’t install the feed cups to give them more room to play. Because the tray at the bottom is removable for cleaning, I just put some treat seeds on the tray for them.It was fairly easy to assemble and is sturdy. The only negative is that I am a little concerned that they will get tangled up in the swing chains, so I am pretty watchful when I let them out to play on it.
