I'm reviewing the PINEWORLD Biometric Gun Safe For Handgun, 4 Quick-Access Unlock APP and key. I always like an item that has couple of optional backups. For this gun safe, I like the biometric fingerprint reader (and I do finger prints for multiple fingers), the phone App and the key. I also like that you can use a cable lock so it won't be snatched. This is a good safe to place next to your bed, easy to access. I can bring it with us in our RV and I do own cable locks for our laptops, so acquiring another cable lock is easy, just ensure that it will fit the opening. As for the battery life, just ensure that you have a fixed schedule to charge it. Keep the keys in a safe place somewhere, I also keep the instructions with the keys for easy retrieval.

I really appreciate that there are so many ways to open this safe. It can store a lot of fingerprints and surprisingly has an app that you can open it with. It's an excellent solution if you need to keep your pew accessible to you, but not others. If someone wants to break into this thing, they definitely will, but it will slow them down a bit at least. Excellent product at this price point.

Fits my p365x and 2 magazines perfectly. Biometric scanner was my biggest worry but it works every single time. Some have mentioned it doesn’t have silent mode but it does…you just have to READ. Great product.

This biometric safe looks and feels good; it is hefty and made out of steel that will slow down--but not stop--the determined thief. (For that you will need a floor-standing safe that securely bolts down from the inside!)For children and adults you've invited into your home, it is more than adequate to prevent the curious from accessing the items you've placed inside. However, that being said, the whole idea is to allow rapid access using your fingerprints on the biometric reader, right? Of course!Well, this one uses multiple reads of the finger you prefer to allow you to open the safe in the middle of the night at various angles, depending on how sleepy you are or how awkward your position. I was successful in opening it about 80-90% of the time on the first try, about 90-95% of the time on the second try. Not too confidence-inducing.My solution was to add a second fingerprint with my thumb, as it seems more natural when the safe is mounted bedside or on the wall next to the bed. The success rate went up about 5-10% higher; not perfect, but workable.The second drawback is the padding inside the safe. When you drop in an item that you don't want scratched or marred on the nicer parts, all of the metal in the safe needs to be padded properly when the safe is mounted in a vertical orientation. I will have to purchase padding and install it before I trust my pew-pew inside without it getting bunged-up. And I hate getting my pew-pews bunged and scratched--it makes me really irritable.Word to the wise--it has keys to override the biometric or code keys (yes, it has those also), but don't, under any circumstances, put the keys into the safe while coding, adding fingerprints, or otherwise having the lid open.Seriously, DON'T! If the batteries go bad with the keys inside, or the biometric fails, you're screwed. You'll have to pry it open, ruining the whole thing. And if you leave your home for any length of time, wisdom requires you to remove your pew-pew and put it in a much more secure safe until you return home...
