works well and has good functions but seems pretty light, the only reason for 4 stars is I feel like I could pick this thing up with ease and walk off with it if I don't have it anchored also I feel like for size there is not a lot of room in it and need more shelving IMO

Got the “4” rifle safe and my AR with a red dot won’t fit unless you put it in at an angle very disappointing thought I would have room to add at least 1 more. ALSO THE BIGGEST LET DOWN IS the top pistol holder is pointless vault won’t close if you have a pistol there and the shelf in (tried my FN reflex a compact pistol) I also have to put my full size pistol on the bottom holder backwards!If you plan on storing more than 1 rifle, ammo, and handguns DO NOT GET! (I don’t even have room to store ammo inside on the floor (-_-) )

First, this fits a standard 22 but really nothing much larger. Don't think this is going to fit an AR or anything with a scope.However it fits plenty of handguns and ammo, as well as cash or anything else you might need.I love the fingerprint scanner, but there is a trick to it. And you should use this tip for any other fingerprint scanner (doorknobs, etc).It holds 50 fingerprints - and the trick is to do the same finger multiple times. Do the main (admin) fingerprint with your finger centered over the scanner. Then add another user - and do it slightly off-center to the left. Then again, but slightly off-center to the right. That way it will open if you don't have your finger exactly centered on the scanner (particularly if you're in a hurry).And my other tip is doing multiple fingers on both hands - do your left thumb and also your right thumb, so you can access it if you have a cut or injury to your main finger.The digital keypad / fingerprint takes normally batteries, and you will have to stay on top of replacing the batteries. However, if it dies, you can use any power bank or backup battery to give it temporary power via USB. And of course it has keys for manual entry.I especially love the alarm function, which sounds off if someone tries and fails to enter multiple times.And of course there are multiple ways to mount it, or bolt to the wall or floor. If you don't have it bolted, I suggest throwing some bricks in there so nobody can run off with it.Please be aware this is a standard safe - this does not compare to a real, old fashioned concrete composite safe. Someone could cut into this with a power tool, for example. I'm fine with that, because I don't want to spend thousands on a safe - but you should be clear what you're getting. All safes can be cracked, it's just a matter of how long (10 minutes vs 10 hours) and what kind of tools are required. This one provides basic deterrence, nothing more.Batteries are NOT included.

The bottom plate of this gun cabinet is too thin! It cannot effectively prevent theft.

I received the 4 gun safe and although it would fit 4 of my 22 rifles as long as there are no scopes or such attached it will not fit guns like my ar15's or tactical shotguns. even without a reddot on my pistol grip shotgun I had to turn the gun sideways to get it to fit inside this safe and close the door. Anything with a scope or a red dot attached is going to reduce the 4 rifle cabinet to a 1 rifle cabinet.Outside of this its a nice lil safe. thumb print and code entry were both a breeze to set up. the adjustable rifle rack slides up and down easy enough but stay in place and the door already has pistol holders in it. I was able to easily store small frame pistols like a single stack 9mm compact in the slot- larger guns like 1911 sized are not going to store in these slots and allow the door to close.
