The first roll of 26ga enamel wire was mislabeled. The box was labeled “26ga”, but the label on the spool said “28ga”. It was definitely 28ga.The replacement spool of wire was properly labeled. However, the wire is smaller than other 26ga wire I still have in stock. Interesting.

Some vendors use spools and leave the end dangling; this manufacturer clearly looped the end and ensured that it doesn't unravel. Then, the plastic wrap to secure it. The label shows the wire diameter and the temperature rating for the copper wire in an industrial/operational environment.
