In the past I have used channel locks to turn the pistons, and rented the tool kit at the auto parts store. I decided that I may as well just get a kit for myself. Many new vehicles have this style of rear caliper now, so it isnt going away. Makes the job super easy. Much better than having to compress the caliper with a C clamp. Now that I have the tool, I wish all the calipers were like this!

Has all the tools you need to do a good brake job. can't beat the price. , Also comes in a great little carrying case easy to put away for storage keeps everything nice and organized

I had bought an 11 or 12 piece kit before, but different car had different calipers and had to upgrade to get the right adapter. Works fine. Just make sure you get a kit with the right adapter for your vehicles.

Best one ive ever used, heavy duty and nothing to go weong unlike the ratchet style ones, wouldnt live without it now. Would be 5 stars if lip or the contact area was wider, only because some applications the pads wont retract far enough and therefore the pad has to be removed to retract the pistonand its not wide enough to contact both pistons, but still works great anyways and i love it recommend it highly

I own many calliper piston tools and if it doesn’t require to wind back the piston this will be my go to tool. Those that say that it bends, I’d say that the piston is seized or misuse. It’s solid and smooth, a great purchase.

This is a must have set if you do brake jobs on newer vehicles. Good set however I couldn't give 5 stars due to the terrible case. The adapters will not stay locked into their recessed storage slots so when you open it up they fall out and then ya got adapters everywhere. Other than the storage case, it's an ok tool set.
