Operation Guide

  1. Remove all panels which are inside within the range of the adhesive material with the removal tool.
  2. Unwind some cutting wire and push it through the adhesive material by using the piercing awl. In case of narrow space, heat up one tip of the cutting wire with a lighter and gently push the hot wire through the adhesive material. Therefore you need to hold the wire with a pliers.
  3. Shorten the cutting wire to desired length.
  4. Attach the tips of the wire to the handles by pushing the wire through the lower opening of the hollow shaft until it can be inserted into the bore hole at the upper part of the shaft. Snap the wire and push back the shaft into its handle.
  5. By going back and forth, the wire heats up and starts working through any adhesive material.
  6. ATTENTION when working in narrow space. The cutting wire can damage painted surfaces and covering panels.
  7. Residual fillers or adhesives can be removed by using either the double hook handle or the pull scraper.

This kit worked perfectly on removing a windshield from a 1999 Toyota 4 runner that I was parting out. I heated up the insertion tool prior to feeding the wire thru the urethane on the windshield. Did not use a sawing motion at all, simply pulled the wire with the handles at sharp angles and the wire sliced thru the sealant with ease. 20 mins and I had the windshield out. For the price, I recommend it
worked great,

Used it on two windows already worked amazing. Only issue we had is the wire broke a lot. But that could me because we have never done it before hard to tell.
It fit and it helped I recommend this product

For just to use it to remove 4 Glas it's good but not too sturdy

A relatives Toyota Tundra had the back glass get busted during a bad storm. It might have been the adhesive Toyota uses or the blade is made of an inferior metal, but the glass removal blade was bending and getting distorted while using it. It did eventually get the job semi done, but not sure it could handle a second job.
