Been riding 56 years but hadn't had a chain bike for last thirty five years. These brushes are pretty neat, makes quick work out of cleaning chain.

They work well and do what I wanted- able to clean my bicycle and motorcycle chains. Quality isn’t the greatest but for the price- it’s hard to complain. When they wear out, I will buy again.

I should have read the other reviews before ordering. As others have noted this is not designed for bicycle chains as there is a large gap between the brushes. That probably works great for huge chains on other motorized chain driven vehicles, but not ideal for a slim bicycle chain. My rating is based on use for bicycle chains because the heading for these brushes specifically says bike and motorcycle chains. I realize bike could be interpreted as motorbike or bicycle, but think this could be made more clear within the posting.I haven't tried it, but I'm assuming it is worth it to pay more for the Finish Line tool that looks like these and has virtually no clearance between the brushes. That way the brushes would come into contact with three (possibly all four) sides of the chain at once, rather than two with this tool.
