I didn’t know how much I needed this! I have 11 bikes that all have internal cable routing. I have spent way too much time trying to feed new cables through frames. After spending about an hour on my latest bike I was working on, I decided to spend $15 and try this - half expecting it not to work. WOW!! Can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner. Took less than 5 minutes to route the new housing, install the cable, and have a buttery smooth seat dropper again. It worked so well I decided to tear about another bike just to see if I got lucky - NOPE! Just as easy. If you work on your own bikes, don’t hesitate to buy this - worth every penny.

This tool made internal cable routing very easy. I was honestly hesitant because I thought it would be a pain in the neck but it was super easy and I had it done quick. This is a great tool, well worth it!

This kit was well worth the price. Worked great, everything you need to either replace or run new housings and cables. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Glad I didn't need to spend my entire paycheck on the name brand version. I was able to run cables through my frame without issue.

You already dropped $40+ on the CN-10 pliers because you've tried normal pliers to cut cable wire and learned the hard way, that didn't work. Now you need to spend $75 for the IR-1? No thank you.I used this kit to route an outer shift cable through the tight angle on a 2020 Specialized Fat Boy. At first, I thought it wouldn't work for me, but leaning more on just my use of the magnet worked better than trying use the magnet while to finessing the cable, which gives me more respect for this knock-off product.

Made a challenging internal routing job relatively painless. (Titanium non magnetic frame). Much better price than the big name brand. Although I do appreciate the quality of PT this was a no brainer for a seldom used tool. Worked well with strong magnet.

The quality of this kit can't be faulted, but be aware it can't pull the latest generation of di2 cables. The end plugs are much smaller than the previous generation

Sadly the magnet on the end of the long string is very slightly too big to fit into the hole, rendering the product useless.

it worked the first time, a brake line hose replacement for in frame routing with internal tube. It's a bit tricky to get the fitting into the brake hose because of the way the hose or cable want to twist on itself, be prepared to use very small pliers, just wouldn't recommend using pliers if you have too much force. threads are a big delicate, so take your time and it'll go smooth. the fittings can catch on edges so make sure to account for that and stop and do a visual inspection to ensure nothing breaks
