El gel súper bien , si lo necesitaba ya que tenía un pequeño cepillo para la aguja pero no era suficiente y el gel la limpio súper bienY el cepillo está horrible , neta me perjudico más de lo que me ayudó , suelta pequeños “pelitos” y estos se quedan pegados al vinilo , así que tuve que usar mi cepillo viejo para quitarlos , no lo volveré a usar

Other than the million tiny bristles on my record and everything near my record player it works to get the other surface dust/dirt off. I wouldn't waste my money, by a good anti-static brush and stylus gel separately.

I use the brush mainly to remove sleeve dust right before I play a record. It does the trick every time. The stylus cleaner it came with works brilliantly. Every time I have used it, I see a white glob of dust come off the stylus.

I can't speak to if it scuffs your record surfaces - there is no doubt that any contact with the vinyl surface should be minimized. On the other hand, I generally do a dry dusting using a Music Nomad "wand" style cleaner, then a wet wash with a watered down (distilled) solution of their record cleaner solution wet on the wand, followed by a rinse using a Crosby traditional distilled water record cleaner. After that my records go in a sonic wash solution of Tergikleen and receive a rinse in a Big Fudge SpinClean type cleaner with just distilled record. This improves almost all records (of course it will never fix deep scratches) - but the carbon fiber brush improves the campfire cracks and pops an additional level. Regardless of if the record is new and ublemished or older and battle-worn - the brush reduces static and therefore unwanted pops and crackles. I have a brush type stylus cleaner, and it works, but I'm always nervous about applying pressure and dragging forward on my stylus with that type of cleaner. Dropping it into the gel a few times is far less stressful. I'd say don't put too much pressure down on records and let the tips lightly brush the surface of the disc and use it sparingly - but if you're noticing a lot of hissing and popping - the scuffs it might leave on the surface are probably an unfortunate byproduct of keeping the record at peak audio fidelity.

This brush works well and does not seem to scratch the record. Removes loose debris on the surface of the record, and a good amount from between the grooves, but does not go super deep. Works well for maintaining new records but somewhat less well for cleaning used ones. Also cannot remove stuck/harder stuff. Stylus Gel works very well, sticking the needle in it does clean it quite well.
