No matter the smell, this stuff seems to work! It’s kind of unbelievable.

These work wonders for lingering odors. I highly recommend them. They got the smell of dog urine out of a house that I bought.

We had a major smoke issue in our basement after using a fireplace with a faulty flu. It was a total disaster -- nauseating smoke smell in a poorly ventilated space. Nothing we tried worked -- not even industrial cleaners. Devastating. This product was/is our savior. Cannot believe how effective. Depending on your situation, it may take a couple of cans or tries (we used the cans primarily as foggers with a bit of spot spraying here and there). It most definitely smells like bubblegum, but that is FAR preferable to stale smoke damage. Another bonus - the 1-800 number on the can allows you to connect with someone at Big D who can answer your questions if you have them. Really appreciate that.

I would recommend this fogger to anyone wanting to eliminate the smell of cigarette smoke or musty smells as I have. I have a sewing building which has a huge inventory of fabric approx. 3 thousand yards on shelves and craft supplies on wall shelves and plastic totes a huge investment. I moved from a humid state and there was a musty smell on top of cigarette smoke it seemed to be on a lot of things. The can mentioned that it may damage some plastics and fabric. I have my fabric on metal shelves ones that would be used in a garage or warehouse and this is were my fabric was and I use clear plastic shower curtains to cover the area where my fabric is stored they appear to look like curtains drawn. I kept the curtains drawn to prevent perhaps damage on the fabric I wasn't concerned about the plastic shower curtains they could be replaced. I closed the windows and I put a towel on the wood laminate floor I put the can on top of the towel and placed the cap on top to set off the fogger however it was fast I would recommend using a glove on the hand that you use to prevent it from spraying your hand. I left my sewing building hoping for the best. About two hours later I returned to ventilate. The smell was really strong but pleasant. I left the windows open to ventilate over night. I checked the next day and it was a very nice clean smell. Some say it smells like bubble gum for me it did smell like gum but not bubble gum. I checked around my sewing building to see if I could see any damage to the plastic shower curtains, my sewing machine and my ironing board and other things in the room I didn't see any damage to the shower curtains being they are plastic. I set off another fogger about two weeks later this time I removed the plastic shower curtains that covered the area where my fabric is kept to be sure to remove any smells that might linger in the stored fabric. It has been a week since the last fogger was set off and the room still remains fresh being I stopped smoking I can smell smoke there was no smoke smells or musty smells to be found. On the can it says it can be used as a spotter this is not true in order to use it as a spotter you need an actuator there is not one. My husband did however remove an actuator from an empty can of spray and drilled a hole through the center of the actuator in order to put it on the can of Fire D it worked and now can be used as a spot sprayer for the dog beds on the floor of our home to eliminate any doggie smells also cat smells. I wanted something that would REMOVE the smells of smoke and musty smells not cover it up and it seems I have finally found it. So if your an ex smoker or have any smells you would like removed then this is what I have recommended.

This stuff did a real good job with animal odor. Since animal odor can vary greatly in smell and severity, it's hard to make a generalized statement as to its ability to neutralize odor or smoke odor. This particular scent is candy like, bubble gum I suppose. It is intense. But we often use it as a quick shot to knock down odor. The cap has to be turned upside down to lock down for extended fogging. We give a room a few shots without locking the top down. Works fine. My review is probably not that helpful for those dealing with smoke odor. Bottom line, it is VERY potent and it smells good. It can be overwhelming! FYI, the directions do have "spot use" instructions. I'm going to check for other scents. We have rent houses and we depend on this fogger.

This product really works! My problem was not smoke but a funky, moldy smell in one room of my house. You see, I bought and renovated the house a few years ago, and in the process, I learned that an earlier owner had created the room by enclosing what was originally a screened-in porch. I assume that something about the room's having been a porch makes it vulnerable to "funkiness." (No other part of the house is funky or moldy.) At any rate, the room's floor was covered with these large blocks of carpet tile, and I determined that the funkiness was within them. Unbelievably, as I look back on it, I took up every single block of tile and individually ran it through the heavy-duty cycle of my washing machine. Surely, nothing could survive all that hot water and strong detergent. Well, it DID survive it. The room was just as unpleasant after I put back all the tiles as it had been at the start. Had I known what an intractable problem this would be, I'd have said, "Time out ... we're putting a new floor in this room." But I didn't know, and I've been fighting this yucky smell ever since! (It's so unpleasant, the room can't be used for clothes ... so it's more of a storage room. A seldom-visited storage room.) As you can imagine, I couldn't wait to get my Big D Fogger! My expectations were low, but at least this was a product made for professional-type restoration jobs.Wonder of wonders, after the prescribed waiting period following the treatment, I went into the room and it smelled great! Always before, that moldy smell managed to peep through -- no matter what the treatment. So I'm thrilled. The question now is how long the Big D can hold the odor in abeyance. (I can't believe it killed it -- NOTHING can kill it.) I'd be quite happy, though, to set off a can of the fogger as often as it takes. It's worth the expense to get my room back!
