As soon as we took this dish out of the carton, we knew something was wrong. It is mis-shapen, with uneven curved sides and handles. It's also made in China, which we didn't expect to see with a Cordon Bleu product. We haven't had good luck with other glass products made in China, including a so-called "pyrex" bowl that exploded in the microwave.We have another Cordon Bleu oval au gratin pan (much older) that is perfectly shaped and works beautifully. What's happened to their quality control?

I use it for serving, meals, left overs -- I really like the au gratin dish, you can place it in the oven, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher..I wish it came in more colore. --dms
