I purchased a truck for cheap from a local auctionhouse. They said it was in poor condition and the check engine light was on and that it burns oil.I got down the road about 15 miles and low oil pressure warning came on. The oil pressure was getting down under 5 psi. I had to downshift and run at higher rpm to hold any sort of oil pressure. Upon stopping at the first station and putting a quart of oil the light went away but the oil was extremely dark. BlackThe truck would not hold psi above 10-15 psiI ran this bg through. I did an hour at about 2600 rpms and then another half hour with the second solutionI took it for a drive down to the gas station after that and the oil pressure was much higher and the next day I took it for about 60 miles on the interstate and around town and it never went below 30 psi and I saw it as high as 45.The check engine light turned off too. The truck has 301k miles with no check engine light and it runs excellent.I am planning on doing a 2,000+ miles trip next week and then selling the truck so I will report back if anything changes but I give this product two thumbs up, easy to use and super high quality.I foresee myself using it again in the future tooUpdate: the truck's transmission went out at 340k miles! Engine ran great after the flush for all 40k miles. The transmissoon blew because the transmission cooler bypass valve plugged. Oil was super dirty after first oil change though and i know this solution will fix it up.
