coming from “gaming” headphones i’m honestly disappointed i haven’t found these sooner. I’m never making that mistake again. Thank you beyerdynamic!!-cons•Just like any open back headphones, they lack “boom” in the bass. It’s still there though.

I been mixing for years and was always missing something when using headphones. Wow, my bounced projects sound spot on now. No soundID reference software needed. I am impressed, so glad I have these. Save some money with renewed, looks new to me! Just buy them!!!!!

The actual product is great, but my only issue is that their are multiple visual scuff/damages that are noticeable. I was under the impression that these would be fixed or as close to new to some degree since it’s “renewed”, and it also didn’t come in a bag (headphones were somewhat dusty out of the box). If I had the option, I would have paid the full price if I knew about these imperfections.

This was a great deal on brand new headphones. They were still sealed in the original unopened box. The box was slightly beat up, so maybe that's why they're not sold as new, but the headphones and included long and short cables were not damaged at all. I purchased these for gaming since they have an open back design and a wide soundstage so should (and do) work well for positional audio. I ran several frequency sweep tests from 10 Hz >> 200 Hz and 22 kHz >> 8 kHz and they respond as they should with no distortion or rattling. They are also easy to drive, so a headphone amp is not necessary, but still recommended for the best quality audio. My Magni works well with them.My hearing is not what it used to be, but these certainly sound great for gaming and music and have a relatively neutral sound without the super heavy bass that cheaper headphones usually emphasize, so game audio and music is heard as the creators intended. Being open back, they do leak sound both in and out, so I wouldn't recommend these for use in a noisy or public environment. They fit my large head well and have thick ear cushions and soft headband foam for comfort. They are a bit tight, but most new headphones are at first on my wide noggin.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. They are well worth the money at this price and sound much better than the RGB encrusted gaming headsets that many peripheral companies sell. I used an antlion modmic to add a microphone to them. I also learned that all parts are available to purchase from beyerdynamic incase something breaks, so you don't have to throw them away like cheaper headphones either.

These are my first true audiophile headphones, but I have plenty of experience with different high quality "casual" headphones. I'm not using these for recording, but for content consumption and casual gaming. Running straight to the PC.If you want details on the sound or build of these headphones, you are better off looking at reviews from audio journalists online. What you should know from a person like me is that these come as advertised: very clean sounding, build is superb, and they are comfortable for long sessions (even with glasses).This particular product is also "renewed". My experience with this was great. They came in original packaging with all of the original accessories, and the headphones themselves only have one subtle scratch on them. I bought from a reputable seller. I encourage you guys to look at the reviews of who you're buying renewed stuff from, as it is not always Amazon. If they specialize in the category you are purchasing in, and have a high rating, then you know are likely in good hands.

I was a little weary buying something that was “Renewed,” because my last renewed product didn’t last very long (Corsair mouse). But while the box was a little banged up, everything inside was pristine. Paired these with a FiiO BTR5 and I am blown away with how great they sound, especially for the price. Also the ear cups are very spacious and comfortable, and they fit fine over my stretched earlobes (this was an actual concern for me when I was shopping), so if that’s a concern for you don’t worry.

honestly, these were like 70usd cheaper, i took a long shot and trusted amazon again and THEY DELIVERED! i dont know where was the renewed part since the box came sealed from fabric and they are pristine! sound is excelent, I use them to mix my music at home, play guitar through them mixed with drums and backing tracks, listening to music, etc. great set of headphones, i chose them over other brands like sennheiser, blue mics, ath, and all the audiophile ones cause if you read all the blogs like i had, you will notice something: no one ever has a problem with beyer's quality control and everlasting equipment! brands like hifiman are famous for the damaged headphones, even sennheiser or sony have stories, BUT NOT FROM BEYERDYNAMIC! so that was what led me to invest my hard earned money in these cause they sell each and every part of the headphones so if something breaks you can replace it, excelent brand!
