I'm very happy with this purchase. There is no scent. The quality of the paper is great in my opinion. I came off of Charmin extra soft. This is slightly thinner but manages to be strong enough that it doesn't tear and leave lint or little bits of paper. . it doesn't feel scratchy either. I love the dotted pattern in the paper and that it's only on ONE side. You can use that side when you have a BM. Then use the flat side when you just need to blot urine. Very very happy with this. Previously tried a different one (ecohiny) which said it was unscented but showed up smelling like perfume. This one is truly unscented. Will definitely be reordering this one

I switched to Betterway Bamboo Toilet Paper for environmental reasons, and I’m so glad I did! How does this have such high reviews?! I’ve tried many bamboo toilet paper brands, and this is one of the worst. I usually use either Regina or skinkissed, however lately skinkissed has been out of stock a lot and my supermarket doesn’t seem to stock Regina anymore. So with the great reviews I thought I’d give this a go.First thing I noticed was how small the rolls were. I usually have to squish the skinkissed ones into the baskets I store them, these barely filled the space. Skinkissed are double roll, 4-ply 250 sheets per roll. This brand is meant to be double rolls, 3-ply 360 Sheets Per Roll, so not sure why they’re so small. When I opened them I thought no way they’re 3 ply! They are thin, and NOT soft at all - I think my kitchen roll/paper towels are softer!! Ladies, trust me, this isn’t pleasant.Will not be buying again.

For years I've heard of the negative environmental & chemical effects of standard TP. I've tried 3 other alt TP types & brands & nothing compares to Betterway! I love that it is more sustainable, made out of bamboo. It's soft & gives all the standards of traditional TP & then some. I don't ever have rips when wiping, nothing sticks after I wipe, & there's no weird smell when unwrapping. I also love that it's affordable & women-owned! I even bring this TP with me when traveling bc I'm such a freak about always using this TP!

My husband requested that I find an alternative to the soft, quilted Charmin TP I was buying because they left behind little pieces of lint after wiping (gross!).After a bit of research I landed on this bamboo TP. I love the subtle dots/divers in the design as they provide some grit to wipe with and the paper is very durable! It’s not as fluffy soft as Charmin, but it’s NOT rough either! It’s honestly very absorbent and comfortable to use. I would say it’s soft, just not the same soft you might be used to, at first. Easy transition though. Use once or twice and you’ll forget all about Charmin because it’s so much cleaner and you might use less. Not a single complaint! I love that the packaging is paper and not plastic. Doesn’t produce all the fluffy dust like other brands either. The individual packaging actually looks kinda cute in our bathroom. Tbh I don’t think the individual packaging is necessary, kinda seems like a waste of paper, but I suppose it does protect it from pets unraveling it.

I know we're not really thinking about how pretty our toilet paper looks while sitting on the counter. Most of us tuck it away somewhere where no one can see it. But Betterway has done such an amazing job with the designs on the toilet roll wrap that I've actually chosen to put mine on the counter! And yes, it is soft and absorbent and does no harm with nasty chemicals. But I can't lie. This is not a fluffy, quadruple-layered toilet roll experience. It's toilet paper, it's good toilet paper, and it's way better for you and the planet than most of the others are.

I've tried a few brands off of Amazon and like the feel of this brand the most. It has a good balance or thickness, strength and softness. No, it's not ever going to be as soft as regular toilet paper, but I find that's better than having too many fibres that can irritate and get stuck on sensitive areas. My only issue is that the prices tripled since I bought my last pack on June 2021 at $24CA and now its $75CA. On their US site its also showing up at ridiculous prices. Has bamboo become scarce? No longer growing? Whaaa happeeeen??Anyway, the branding is amazing too. Had me chuckling at a lot of the puns. Everything from their website to the packaging and down to the end of the roll - just brilliant.

Let's start with why I purchased this TP. I purchased 12 regular sized rolls. The giant, soft, fluffy, TP form Costo was shedding paper fuzz that stuck in places where it did not belong, and caused intolerable irritation. After 2 -3 weeks of use, the Betterway TP has eliminated that problem. After having used the giant costco sized packages of TP that filled the trunk of my car, the size of the box and rolls that arrived were shockingly small in comparison. My first thought was that I'm not going to be able to afford it in the long term. The good news is that this TP goes a long way. One bamboo roll lasts as long as two of the giant fluffy paper rolls, but I am using it sparingly. There is a smooth soft side, which is soft enough and sufficiently absorbent. It does break down quickly when wet and holds up better with dabbing rather than wiping. The textured side for messier cleanups reminds me of textured paper towels. It does work better than smooth TP, but it can be rough and uncomfortable, if too much pressure is applied, but the softer side is always an available option. These rolls/sheets are not wide enough for me with my bigger than average behind. The attached photo shows a roll on a standard 5-1/2" wide TP holder that could accommodate another 1.75" in width. One would think that using a longer length would make up the difference, but I find it is more of a challenge than a wider sheet. I do have a septic tank so I was happy to see that it claims it is septic tank safe, and I can see that it breaks down easily. I will continue to buy this unless cost becomes an issue. I do hope that a wider width is available in the future
