It's utter garbage, the drain just falls off. I kept it but glued the drainer in the upright position so it's at least somewhat usable.

This tank is ok. The filter it has don't do like anything. Also it's not really a good size for a Beta fish kinda too small. It was easy to set up and is great for like tank cleanings to out your fish in for short periods of time I just wouldn't put your fish in there for more than a few hours to a day.

Perfect for my beta fish. I like to ease of cleaning it, although my rocks can sometimes go through the bottom net part and get sucked through the "straw," but that's an easy fix.

I love it! So far so good! It doesn't take too much space and the water change is very easy. Only thing is that to keep the water crystal clear you have to change it pretty much every day. I would suggest buying a mini air pump with a filter to use in case the water gets too dirty too fast.

We got this tank for our Betta fish and he absolutely loves it, we love it. My only gripe is that the lid just barely sits on top of the tank. Cleaning the tank is a breeze with the added syphon tube. There are no instructions on how to use this so I will tell you how, it's very easy, just add water until it's almost above the top of the syphon tube and the syphon will begin to draw water from the bottom of the tank. Just make sure you have something catching the waste water. The more water you add, the cleaner the tank. We exchange roughly 50% of the water.So far it's been great, highly recommend.

I wouldn't recommend especially for a child. It's thin plastic and not much to it really. It is a good idea but it could have been made better. It's very blurry when your trying to see your fish. You have to look down into the tank. The light is just ok you have to unscrew it to turn it off and on. It's cheap. The lid doesn't fit it just sits on top until someone touches the tank and it goes sliding.

I bought this for my grandson's first betta. Assembly is easy and it looks beautiful! I added a small turntable beneath it to keep the grandkids from trying to turn the tank manually to look at the fish, and will fill that portion with decorative gravel. I've only had the fish in it for 2 days, but here are my thoughts so far:Pros:• Super easy to assemble• The lights give the tank a gorgeous glow and provide a nice nightlight• The spout on the side works remarkably well to remove water. Haven't done a water replacement yet, but I initially put too much water in it and just a simple turn of the spout let the water pour out.• Lid doesn't have to be removed to feed the fish, as there are several holes in the topCons:• Instructions don't tell you: water level needs to be no higher than bottom of spout or it will leak! I had to come back and read the reviews/Q&A to figure this out.• The spout connection to the inner tube could be a bit tighter. If not handled carefully, it comes away from the tank pretty easily (this was the reason for my 1 star deduction).• Lights rotate through the colors; haven't found a way to get them to stay one color (not necessarily a con, but grandson wanted them to stay blue!)• Lid just "sits" on top - there's no latch or "catch" to give it a firm feeling of being in place, so be careful tank doesn't sit somewhere that it can be bumped easily.All in all, as long as this isn't handled too much once set up, I think it's a great little tank that shows off the fish beautifully. I'll come back after I've done a cleaning and update the review.

While I acknowledge the downside of some of the reviews (lid doesn't stay on, and the light doesn't last very long without having to replace the battery), it's just a wonderful little Betta tank; doesn't take up much room on my counter; does a very adequate job of cleaning; is economical; and my Betta is a happy camper, making bubbles all day long! I purchased a Hygger gravel cleaner, too, for a more thorough job--although that device may be a bit much for this little tank, and one has to be careful not to siphon too much water out too quickly--but this small, simple fish tank totally meets my needs and allows for water changes fairly often without having to do a more thorough cleaning job. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for a single Betta.

I love how easy it is to change water. I don't have to net the first, stress him out, and water doesn't spill like it did with bowls. In another (not good) review, someone said that the filtration does not work. Mine works perfectly fine! I pre-boil water, let it sit for a couple of days, add the water conditioner in anyways. Then, I put this cleaner water in a pitcher and let it age. I turn the funnel spout done into a bucket, and pour the clean water in. I see the 'dirtier water' coming out into the bucket, and once the water level once again drops to slightly below the funnel, the siphon action stops. Then, I point the funnel back up towards ceiling. No stress to the fish whatsoever, and his water is much better. I wish they invented this before when I had goldfish because goldfish are really messy and can be in a bowl, but they would get stressed out when changing the water and it would be so much messy to change the water because of spilling, etc. This makes water change so much more faster, easier, and more stress-free. (the lid is a little off, but that is really a small thing. The light is really cool.) Really impressed! Thanks!

We used this without issue for 2 months. Note that you need to empty and clean the whole tank at least weekly, the method of adding clean water and draining some of the dirty is not adequate.Tank was cleaned on Sunday, no issues. On Tuesday night the tube that goes in the tank to drain the dirty water out somehow came disconnected, our beta swam in it, got stuck and died.

Is practical as you top up fresh water daily but is not fully clean the tank so once a week needs a full clean by removing the whole water and replenish.
