Almost perfect. Got this as a LPN return. Prior customer had stripped nutsert thread and returned item. I just had to rethread the nutsert and install the channel. Works perf.

I bought a different brand that said it worked with my 04 TJ but after receiving the plastic trim on the inside of the windshield would have to be modified. Returned and bought this one that fit perfectly without any modifications.

Easy to fit however cover does not stay in at edges very well due to very tight turns at the sides of channel. Looks nice with both cover attached and also when cover removed.

Works well. Just require lots of pressure to attach.

I'm not sure why so many people had trouble with this product. I was able to install this on my 1999 Wrangler TJ Sahara by myself with no problem. The no drill design makes things so much simpler and everything fit perfectly. Make sure to read the instructions and watch youtube videos from Bestop and you will have no trouble at all. They really emphasize that you need to make sure you push the header all the way forward and flush with the seal, not leaning back where air or water could get in. The bigger challenge was installing the bikini top by myself, but I still managed to do it. Two people would have made that way easier, but that is not the fault of the header, which is why I am leaving this at 5 stars.

Product came in great condition. It did take 2 of us to put it on the jeep. Had to hold it tightly down while the nut is tightened. Was able to use it with my VDP Koolbreez mesh full bikini top. Kept the box it came in so it can be stored this winter when the soft top goes back on. Has held up with freeway driving. Very happy with the product.

I agree with many other reviewers. Definitely a well made product. However, this it not what you want if you plan to take it on and off. Install of the header bar is easy enough and bolts into the existing clamp holes. But, installation of the top was near impossible with one person. I couldn't get the plastic strip on the top to stay in place on the header bar during installation. After messing with it for 20 minutes, finally re-boxed it and sent it back.If this is going to stay on your jeep for extended periods of time and you have two people to install it, it's the way to go. If you want something that you are going to just put on for a day or two by yourself, it seems like way too much trouble.
