I needed a reasonably heavy, non-skid base for a network switch module which kept being pulled off my desk by the weight of the attached ethernet cables. This little bench block is the ideal solution. Its added weight and the soft plastic bottom non-skid sheath, attached to the switch module with double sided tape, is the perfect solution; the module is now stable and stays put. Good quality and very reasonably priced.

I had a popular 2x2" block. But this one is superior. It is larger, round and has a secure padding on the bottom which makes for secure hammering with less marks and less banging noise. Highly recommended!

Works awesome for my jewelry making and other small things that need a firm backing. Cushion base is a great help with stability when chasing or planishing.

I was looking for a better placement option for my magnetic Morse code (CW) paddles and decided to order one of these. Turned out to be absolutely perfect in both size and weight and with the soft plastic at the bottom it prevented slipping. Perfect to toss in my bag also.

It is what it is. I use it for metal stamping jewelry. It doesn’t vibrate, slide, or collapse. It is a solid piece of steel with good weight and a good feel. It is an adequate size, so it is easy to store.
