These are the best, most versatile clamps you can buy. You should buy at least one more than you think you need. You do need to use care as the pipe will bend under high clamp loads resulting in none parallel clamping force.

Over the years I've bought about 2 dozen of these clamps and I might try others, but I just keep coming back to these. To be honest, my favorite pipe clamps are Craftsman ones that they stopped making years ago because they have a little lever that is easier than the tab on these, but in terms of new clamps, this is what I get.I like these H style ones, because I can easily hang them by the little foot on the leg. I also prefer the handle on these.I bought a couple of the Harbor Freight clamps a while ago to see how they compared, and they feel so cheap in comparison. I ended up throwing them away because I couldn't crank down on them like I can on the Bessy clamps.I've also bought several parallel clamps and they are great, but are so expensive, especially for longer ones.I generally have 4 foot and 6 foot pipes with a couple of 10 footers and I have connectors that I use when I want to do larger glue ups so I can do pretty much any size I want with pipe clamps as long as I have enough pipe to connect.I just see so many other clamps at the store or on youtube and I'll give them a try, but for the value, quality, and versatility I just keep going back to these Bessy pipe clamps.

These helped make my panel glue ups much easier. I can't wait to buy another set next month. Some reviews said they noticed slipping on galvanized pipe, not me. They held strong with no slip.

The BESSEY BPC-H12 1/2" H Style Pipe Clamps are an absolute must-have for anyone tackling woodworking or other clamping projects. These clamps are incredibly sturdy and built to last. The "H" style base is a game-changer—it provides outstanding stability and prevents tipping, which is a huge plus when working on uneven surfaces or larger projects. One of the standout features is the smooth and easy-to-adjust clutch mechanism. It locks firmly in place without slipping, making it simple to get just the right amount of pressure without damaging your workpiece. I also appreciate the large clamping pads that distribute pressure evenly and protect delicate materials from dents or scratches. The powder-coated finish adds durability and helps resist rust, so these clamps are built to endure heavy use over time. I've used them for everything from small furniture repairs to larger glue-up projects, and they’ve never let me down.Overall, the BESSEY BPC-H12 offers professional-grade performance at an affordable price. Whether you're a hobbyist or a seasoned woodworker, these clamps are a reliable and indispensable tool.

These were a cost effective solution for adding some additional clamping options to my shop. Grab a length of black pipe, cut tonthe size you want and you're done. Really can't get much easier and this allows you to customize the size of your clamps. These work very well.

Super quality. Great value. Love the covers. Use conduit instead of black iron pipe. Saves in weight and the grime black pipe usually continues to rub off over time. Made my Trex deck build so much more precise and easy for one person to do. Best price anywhere

Just have to buy the steel bar which may not be that easy to find but as far as the clamps are concerned, top quality

Great clamps, great price, you won't find a better bang for the buck out there. Even if you find cheaper clamps don't buy those. I run a small wood working company and wood glue ups are a staple for me. Over the next year I'll be buying at least 20-30 sets of these. I currently have 4 sets of Bessey clamps and multiple other brands I'd bought before these. The handles are easy to use, the padded clamping surface is easy on the wood but nice and strong, and the feet are what puts these over the top. having a nice sturdy base that raises the clamp off the work bench really streamlines ease of use and efficiency. Stop reading reviews and buy these now.

Bessey 3/4 H-Style pipe clamps are great. They're make out of cast iron, solid, durable, look like they'll last a life time.I order two of these, one of them have a not so flat clamping surface, I'm a little OCD, so I'll return this and get a replacement. I'll upload a picture that show this defect. The other one is perfectly flat, so perhaps i just got one from a bad batch. When I was looking for pipe clamps, I was considering this Bessey H-Style and the Rockler Sure-Foot. I picked these two brand because of the raised feet that allow the handle to clear the ground. I bought two of the Bessey and two of the Rockler. Both clamps are very similar (well they're pipe clamp, what else do you expect). Both are of good quality but here's the some differences between the two for those in the same boat that I was and wondering which one to get. I'll upload a couple pictures of the clamps side by side for your visual comparison.Main Differences:* Bessey clamp's feet are a little longer (3/8"). Ground clearance (measure from the top of the pipe). 3" for Bessey, 2 5/8" for Rockler. I'll probably glue some 3/8" thick piece of wood underneath my Rockler clamp to bring the ground clearance up to the same level of the Bessey.* Clamping surfaces: Bessey: 1 3/4 (width) x 1 5/8 (height). Rockler: 1 3/4 (width) x 2 1/4 (height).the clamping surface of the Rockler is a 3/8 taller. I prefer this. Rockler clamps also seem to have better finish, the clamping surface is smoother and flatter. I have 3 of the Bessey clamp and two of them do not have very flat & smooth clamping surfaces. Would it make a different in clamping? probably not.* Bessey come with rubber cover for the clamping surface to protect your work. Rockler cheap out on this and sell the rubber cover separately (come on Rockler). Not really a big deal for me though. I'm sure I can find a piece of rubber somewhere in the house and tape it on.Similarity:* raise, wide, stable footing.* handle clear the ground for easy tightening.* smooth clamping action. In conclusion, I think these are best pipe clamping currently available. Both Bessey H Style & Rockler Sure-foot are good clamps, can't go wrong w/ either. I do like the finish of Rockler clamp better so I give it 5 versus 4 for the Bessey clamp.
