I have used iCRIMP for one year to maintain my motorhome plumbing that uses Pex fittings. It is solidly made and easy to use. Besides installing Pex fittings, the iCRIMP is amazing how easily it REMOVES a Pex fitting which, without this tool, is frustrating. Today I removed a fitting in less than 5 seconds. If you have Pex I recommend keeping a iCRIMP in your tool box. You never know when a water leak will appear!

This was my first time using PEX B and I didn't know what tools I needed, but I found out that many are very expensive or are made for PEX A fittings.I discovered this set of tools from a YouTube video and gave them a try. I liked that it came with all the tools you really need and a bunch of clamp rings to get started. I had no problems from the very first crimp. No leaks, nothing broken, and everything worked perfectly. I did have to remove a crimp ring when I had to move a line and this tool has the ability to cut off rings as well. For a DIYer like myself, there is no need to pay more for a set of PEX tools than this.

This kit with both the crimper and cutter along with multiple elbows, straight pieces and crimping clamps is an excellent value for everything it comes with. I was extending some water pipes and this had everything I needed for my project. The crimpers work great as well as the pex cutting tool and made easy work of installing the pipe. The clamps crimped securely on the elbows and fittings with no leaks. Everything fits in the included case so I can keep everything together. I am 100% happy with this kit and would absolutely recommend it for any DIY projects. 5 stars all the way.

A pretty solid and strong crimper and the removal crimps function it's a huge plus, I struggled a lot of times trying to get crimps with a set of pliers or side cutters in the past and now I can do it with just one tool. Good material, solid and strong tool

Very happy with this purchase. Although I haven't used it for PEX connections, I have used it for regular irrigation pinch clamps. It worked great at both pinching and removing the clamps. Seems to be good quality and I imagine it will last quite a while. It would be nice if it came with a wider assortment of clamps, but that's more of a wish rather than a complaint.

I bought this set for our motorhome. Great addition to my rv toolbox. All the plumbing is pex so having spare clamps and a few feet of tubing comes in handy. They work very well and simple to use. Really good investment and can save you from a potentially serious problem in your rv or at home if you’ve pex in it.

I used this to make two 1/2" joints so far, and it worked perfectly. It's a sturdy took and could do 1/2" joints all day without any problem. I have not tried it on 3/4" connections. For 1/2" connections, it is a good tool for the price and completely adequate. If you are a DIYer, nothing more is needed. As others have noted, it takes just a little muscle (not much) to get it started when the handles are spread out. Once the handles come in closer together, it's not difficult to squeeze them together. The entire crimping operation is ONE squeeze of the handle. One language nuance, it is NOT a "ratchet" as described. To me, if it were a ratchet, you could squeeze the handles all the way together, and the jaws would clamp down a little, then you could release the handles a little and squeeze again, and the jaws would tighten more. That's not how this works. The entire clamping operation happens with one squeeze of the handles from open to closed. If you stop in the middle, it will hold that position until you squeeze again to complete the crimp. I could see it being a little difficult on 3/4" connections, but on 1/2" (even without a ratchet feature), it's fine.

Great Tool and KitFirst time working with PEX. I done all other kinds of plumbing; copper, PVC, ABS, Poly, even bronze, black pipe, and galvanized. PEX - Love it! The PEX pipe I needed to work with was inside our Travel Trailer. The builders kinked the main tank water supply because they didn’t want to rotate a fitting. I needed to fix that and I also wanted to put in an accumulator tank to reduce the 12v pump from cycling every time we would used the water. So I needed to cut into the PEX system. This iCRIMP Ratchet PEX Cinch Tool really is an All-In-One Tool Kit. It included the cinch tool, pipe cutter, two sizes of pipe clamps, and instructions. I simply followed the how-to printed on the card. I set the cinch to cut and removed the clamp. And then I used the pipe cutter to remove the kink. The instructions even told me to use a heat gun to get the pipe off the fitting. I put the clamp on the pipe, slid both onto the fitting, changed the cinch tool back to cinch, and tightened the clamp. First time, no problems, no leaks, great.I think the iCRIMP Ratchet PEX Cinch Tool is well built and easy to use. Now what else can I change to PEX?
