This is an excellent product for the price and just what I was looking for ! Inspect it carefully when you first get it, I did have an issue with the quality of the eyes on the rod. Some of them were not smooth and would have been abrasive to the fishing line. But Amazon took care of it for me.

Paired this up with an Okuma Cavalla 5Nii 2speed reel and while it's a little long for it, it's an outstanding bottom fishing setup for offshore BUT the rod is long enough to put in a rod rigger for trolling and gets the line away from the side of the boat so you can open up your spread and stay untangled.

The reason for my one star review is the reel seat part that screws down to the actual reel so it stays in place came so stuck it will not budge and the pole is useless. I am extremely aggravated about this because I was looking forward to using this pole.

I have used this rod snagging catching 30+ pound fish regularly. The rod holds up so well I keep it handy for most all fishing trips. I have upgraded my snagging rods to the much heavier broom sticks to handle 60-80 pound test but I keep this one handy so I can keep fishing when those heavy rods exhaust me. You are going to love the durability of this rod.

Everyone in my area only carries the spincaster, so I ordered my baitcaster here. Very strong rod considering the price. It's difficult to find a medium/heavy rod at this price point. The weak point is the plastic reel seat but, so far no problems with it breaking. No problems pulling in 20lb plus Channel Cats and Carp. Can barely reach eighty yards when casting 3oz but, that is about what I'd expect from a short baitcasting rod. Tip not protected during shipping, so I am amazed it arrived in perfect condition. Seller really should protect tip better for shipping.

Aún no la he puesto a prueba pero se aprecia de buena calidad, no se siente tan dura como otros la describen y la pienso utilizar para trolear y quizá un poco de jigging. Por el precio no vas a encontrar otra igual.
