Die Benriner Mandoline erfüllt genau das was sie verspricht.Extrem scharfe, rasiermesser-ähnliche Klingen, die Zutaten mühelos in die gewünschte Dicke schneiden.Dank der unterschiedlichen Klingen, die im Lieferumfang beinhalten sind, könnt ihr eine Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Schneidtechniken und Schneidstärken anwenden.Auch die Reinigung gestaltet sich einfach, da ihr die Klingen sehr einfach wieder entfernen könnt.Besonders loben muss ich die einheitlichkeit der Ergebnisse, das Zubereiten eines Kartoffelgratins war einfacher denn je und gleichzeitig auch schöner, denn je zuvor, da jede Scheibe der Kartoffeln die gleiche Dicke hatten.Kritikpunkte:Den mitgelieferten Fingerschutz kann ich alleine nicht empfehlen, dafür fordert eine Mandoline zu viel Respekt von ihrem Anwender. Ich persönlich habe mich dazu entschieden zusätzliche Schnittfeste Handschuhe zu kaufen.So fühle ich mich sicher und laufe keinerlei Gefahr.Da die existierende Gefahr allerdings zwangsläufig mit einer Mandoline einhergeht, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen keinen Stern in der Bewertung abzuziehen.

I can see why this mandolin was top rated on America's Test Kitchen. It really does a great job of slicing. I was able to make wafer thin pieces of apple. SWEET!

I had my old mandoline for last 40 years( same Japanese brand), I ordered this one since I lost couple piece that go with it and bottle little dull after using for 40 years.This one is best in the market I think.Very sharp and does great cutting and make things easier for making food.Easy to use and I am happy to get the new one.

I've bought several mandoline slicers in the past and this one is by far the best. It's made of high quality, durable plastic that feels like it will last a long time. It's fairly easy to adjust and use. I like the soft rubber at the end to keep it from slipping on your work surface when you are using it. The thing I like the most is the blade - every other mandoline I've seen has a fixed blade that is fused to the body of it, but this one you can actually remove the blade and either sharpen it or replace it if you need to, which is incredibly handy. The other cheaper ones that are basically garbage when the blade gets dull but not this one. The only downside would be that it's kind of expensive, but it's worth it. Get this one if you plan on using it a lot.

As a professional Chef this Mandolin exceeded my expectations. It was delivered quickly and well packaged. It came with a blade guard. I really like the bigger twist know on the bottom to adjust the opening for desired thickness. I also really like the plastic above the blade where you put your product doesn't pop up or move like other models I've used, so if you accidentally slip or your product moves it makes it harder to cut yourself. It's wide so allows to shave a larger variety of food which is also nice. It lays nicely over a 2/4qt cambro for easy and clean prep. Definitely worth the money.

The main blade is so sharp! We like the attachments that came with the slicer. We've already cut up cucumber and many potatoes into small french fries. We like that we can change how thick our slices are and keep them consistent. We also used the attachment that holds whatever your cutting. Never had an issue with losing whatever was getting cut, the spikes work great. Also, we didn't have to worry about the spikes getting caught in the blade. I'd highly recommend this blade over others as we did try a cheaper alternative that couldn't adjust the height of what was being cut.Speaking of comparisons, the quality of this mandolin slicer is leagues better than other slicers we've tested. It's not made out of cheap plastic like other slicers. We can see ourselves easily using this slicer forever (until we need a new blade that is =) )

Mit diesem Gemüsehobel kann man durchsichtige Scheiben hobeln. Natürlich gehen mit der stufenlosen Einstellung auch dickere Scheiben. Die Justierung ist absolut stabil und bleibt in der Position. Auf der breite Reibefläche von 12cm lässt sich auch ein Krautkopf fein aufreiben. Das Messer kann entnommen und geschliffen oder einfach gewendet werden, da es auf beiden Seiten scharf (extrem scharf!!!) ist. Ich bin total begeistert.

Easy to use, although you would never guess by looking at the instruction booklet. I suggest finding a YouTube video.I like that it's self-contained and you're not having to change blades to get different thicknesses. Also, because it's adjustable, you can dial it into the thickness you want. The downside is that because there are no set thicknesses, there's a bit of trial and error until you get the thickness that you want.Seems sturdy enough.
