Perfect for putting guide lines on my fabric to do my sashiko stitches.

It’s almost impossible to sharpen a pencil enough to get it into the space for drawing. The tip keeps breaking off when it gets stuck in the stencil. The stencil needs to be thinner.

I know these are templates for quilting, but I actually use them as templates in my drawings and my journal. They are great for making lines to write straight in my journal. Couldn't ask for a better product. They are thinking and sturdy and I like them better than most templates just for journaling. Highly recommend.

The stencils are made from clear acrylic. There is a protective film on either side that needs to be removed. The half circles stencil has markings for the diameters, and there is no markings on the rest of the stencils. The stencils are clear to see where you are marking.

I use these for my art journal so I can make precise patterns. They are a great thickness for stability meaning my lines are always straight and being clear is great for being able to accurately place the stencil. It may not be intended for journaling but it works a treat.

I do Sashiko daily, and these are by far the best templates. The quality, sturdiness, all are great for sashiko grids- be sure to pull the film off like they describe. The heat erasable pens fit in them too. Love them!

This template is too thick and I cannot trace onto the fabric using it. Really bummed because I missed the sashiko class because of Covid, so I ordered templates to teach myself during my isolation and these templates are too thick - the tip of the pen can not reach down onto the fabric.

These are amazing, convenient and durable! Some are complaining about the thickness making it difficult to use. Stabillo fine liners and nicpro mechanical drafting pencils fix that problem. I bought them to make my own dot graphs and guide lines for mandalas and zentangles.
