Bought this for emergency use in my fishing boat. This is definitely a working mans paddle! Solid, no flex or risk of snapping like the lesser priced collapsible ones. Plus it looks damn good, finished very neat and evenly.

I had to talk my husband out of buying cheaper oars. He didn't want to spend a lot of money. But these oars were definitely worth it. They are both beautiful and functional. We needed to replace oars that had belonged to my husband's grandfather for a canoeing trip to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota, where we would be spending 8 hours in the canoe every day for a week. The oars were well crafted, lightweight, very comfortable, perfect size. I'm sure these oars will be handed down to the next generation or two.

Very smooth and elegant paddle. The angle of the grip gives a comfortable and powerful grasp which leads to a very efficient stroke. It is a joy to use. The only disadvantage is that it is too beautiful to just toss around. You will want to care for it.

This company has been around for a long time. I got my first Bending Branches canoe paddle as a gift in the early 1970's. It has been a great companion on my canoe trips! The quality is still first-rate.

At just over $100, this is a very light, well made paddle. Presents well and everyone who looks at it takes a double take. Sized right, it is a step above the others. I think this model will last, and the company seems to stand behind their products as others have said. MADE IN THE USA.....for me, it is a must buy and a great choice.

Not only is this paddle a work of art, it performs amazingly. My inaugural trip for the Arrow was a 23-mile overnight trip down the Blackwater River in Milton, FL with 24 Boy Scouts. The fit was perfect and the paddle much lighter than my now-backup Carlisle paddle. Tested many different strokes while piloting my 16ft Old Town Camper canoe. Was extremely pleased on how it moved my boat around obstacles and down the winding river.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship canoe paddle. I have 25+ years canoeing experience and the Bending Branches Arrow canoe paddle is a perfect paddle for all occasions (lake & river canoeing). It has a perfectly sanded and shaped handle which prevents hand blistering, is nice and light weight for long paddle trips preventing fatigue, its great looking, and the tip's rock guard protects paddle from pushing off rocks and gravel water beds/banks. These paddles last a very long time and can take a punishment. Made in the U.S.A! Highly recommend!!!
